WTF happened in Dragon Ball Super? All this character building and emotional, heart touching and sometimes dark moments. All of that, sent to the gutter. Now it just tries to be dark or funny and fails at both and just becomes cringy. Chichi hasn’t once embraced Goku and turned into a shallow bitter bitch. Goten and Trunks,who are the new generation of Saiyans are completely wasted with no relevance to the story, their character development is trash compared to kid Gohan in DBZ, who is also not given proper relevance along with all the other characters and serves to only churn out filler episodes. In general, Toei focused on the wrong things, we watched for the fights (which are sometimes hits and mostly misses in Super) and stayed for the story. In general, it’s too concentrated on Goku and Vegeta, but mostly Goku.
