Dragon Ball FighterZ was released earlier this year to a lot of positive reception including from myself. It originally came to the PS4, Xbox One and PC but 9 months later it finally comes to the Nintendo Switch. This version of the game brings the entire console experience on the go with some technical drawbacks to maintain the solid performance.

I remember playing this with a super fan of dbz on Xbox and all I did was mash buttons and I won like 2 games

I thought the switch version had all the characters dlc included in the the game, that’s why I thought it was why the switch version was full price.

I actually couldn’t tell it was different and I have the xonex as well running in 4k. Of course that’s on my 4k tv while my switch is on the 1080p monitor. Until someone told me to look at the car in one of the main while I was playing and they didn’t have all the details but then I thought….I won’t ever really see those background onjects because I’m focused on my character Rand the opponent flying around doing combos..

Framerate is good “for the most part”????? Sorry fps dips are not acceptable in a fighting game considering timing is essential.

Yes I’m also disappointed for a ported game not coming with any DLC. In order to use all the DLC characters, we need to spend near so $100 for this game… Although it’s still quite new, but it’s ported. They should at least include a few dlc.

Game is phenomenal on Switch. Obviously the texture detail and resolution drops a bit in undocked mode but otherwise it looks and runs great.

I wonder, if you guys see a meal on the table next to you, do you expect it too to be cheaper if you order it? The game is a few month out on the other systems which makes the price drop due to shrinking demand. Furthermore the developer and publisher had to do additional work. I get it, you want stuff cheaper but at some point you have to understand how prices rise due to additional work and a new system on which the market isn’t saturated already. that’s just how capitalism works…

I’m so infuriated about the pricing. 59€ for a 9 months old game and dare to not even include the season pass or any extra content.
I signed a petition for this to happen but there has to be some reason behind everything and I’m not buying an old game that I already own on a different console for the full price again.

I have a PlayStation 4 that is just sitting there because my controller broke and I have no money to buy a replacement. I put it on my Christmas list but nobody ever got it for me for some bullshit excuses. But even if I am able to play the PS4 version of the game. Which do you recommend? The Switch, PC, or PS4? I was contemplating on getting this game for the PC but I am thinking it might be more fun to play on the Switch and it allows me to build my Switch library in the process. The Switch has officially become my main console whereas my PC is still ahead of the game. It’s becoming difficult now since a lot of PC indie titles are getting released for the Switch now leaving a great big dilemma. What do you suggest?

Do you normally play FighterZ, or 2D fighters in general, with the analog stick? I know theres no D-Pad for handheld play but do you, personally, use the analog on the pro controller?
