The guy didn’t even had a chance, Light write his name and forced him to write the names, it wasn’t even his choice.x

Light is obviously a psychopath, that is he has little to no empathy or is capable of “turning it off”. That makes his decisions mostly based on logic. Logically killing criminals scares people into commit less crimes and drops the death count over all. Logically killing investigators allows him to continue killing criminals. The police going after him are bad people for trying to stop him from saving the world.
But, it is ethically wrong, plus scaring people into good behavior is unsustainable as people will revert as soon as the threat is gone.
Psychopaths are not inherently bad people, they just don’t have empathy helping them course correct their behavior. Light had been a good person, but absolute power corrupted him absolutely.
Light is also narcissistic as evidenced by having to let Ray know who killed him. Light is also arrogant as evidenced by his claim that he will become the new world’s god. But he is really intelligent and the game of chess between him and L is just so fascinating to watch!

"I didn’t think he would kill a good person"
Once you act both like the judge and the executioner it’s only a matter of time before you start killing innocent people.
I think it’s made pretty clear that Light is a wicked person since episode 1

Can you do a reaction on the Nostalgia Critic’s "Top 11 Worst Avatar Episodes" and its sequel, the "Top 11 Best Avatar Episodes"? Would be awesome.

The 1950’s couple conversation I found distracting this episode. Like when you watched Twilight, I’m like "No one talks like this!" Methodology was entertainment and such a tragic turn. Nice of L to finally show himself to the remaining team. Not a bad way to weed out the less trustworthy.

You know what’s really shitty? Because Ray Penbar used the death note, he can’t go to heaven or hell. Light screwed over Ray in the afterlife as well.

The most fucked up part of that guy unknowingly murdering the whole team is that he won’t go to heaven or hell because he used the notebook.

I love that you love it. Yeah, it would have been great if he didnt kill anyone inocent. It would make the "is Kira really evil?" even more interesting. When you get to the finale, consider reading the manga’s finale

I always thought that Light made Ray Penber kill those agents, just that he could be justified in some way for killing him. Like, I am still trying to not surpass my own rules, but I think its just me overthinking things.

I think we all fell in love with the show after the first couple episodes. It just pulls you in. Not many shows can do that.

It would have been better if he didn’t kill innocent, I mean we can’t say that he is a good guy anymore but well… it’s still very good.
