Episode 23 was my fave seeing Aizawa leading the cops coming back for his old friends was amazing I know L probably COULD have thought of a way out and capturing him without Aizawa but Aizawa being there really made it easier for them and better how he knew to ambush HIGUCHI AMAZEBALLZ

There were originally 25 episodes, then they added additional 13 episodes when they saw how popular it was. The series was supposed to end at ep 25 and thús they made a finale in that episode

There are 37 MAIN EPISODES! The Death Note fanbase is split into 2 groups. The real fans that enjoy all 37 awesome episodes! And the butt hurt people that are NOT true fans and only like the first 25 and can’t accept the truth that there are 37 MAIN EPISODES! There are 37 episodes. People are just being salty and think that the show should have ended at 25 because they didn’t like the final arc as much but it’s still an important part of the story and is how it ends.

Watch Code Geass after Death Note. It’s the Only anime which can surpass Death Note. Season 1 is kind of boring bcz it builds up the world but damn Man. Season 2 is the BOMB!.
And btw season 3 is coming this year.
There are total 50 episodes in total with season 1 and season 2 combined.

Why are people saying there are only 25 episodes? There are 37 and they are all part of the same story. Some people (myself included) think that the first 25 episodes are better than the last 12, but they are all part of Death Note and it is the same continuing story. It’s still good after episode 25, it’s just that some of us don’t like the other episodes as much. You should still watch them though!

The notebook is significant to you the viewer but to the characters in the show who aren’t aware or can even conceive of a supernatural force like the Death Note, it wouldn’t strike any importance to them.
