I’m a bit furter in the story now but this was the idea I head after ep2: "since he won’t go to heaven or hell, after his death he goes back in time, looses his memory and becomes L, they kinda look similar"

Honestly I agree with Light. It’s wrong on the surface theoretically. Like no 1 person should have that much power
But imagine if suddenly hitler was taken out, or the north korean government.
Suddenly this powerful figure that can seemingly kill anyone from anywhere starts killing the worst rapists and murderers and evil doers in human history.
I feel like Light is better than the current system. And a figure like that would strike fear into the hearts (lol) of so many criminals

No matter how many times I watch that scene it always gives me goosebumps.
From my experience this is where people begin to fall in love with the show. Altough I don’t have any doubts that you will fall in love with the show because it only gets better from here.

You say it feels weird for you to be rooting for a character who isn’t the main character. In my opinion, if anyone watches this show and *does* root for the main character, they need professional help.

I really like how much you criticize Light. As much as I like him as a well-created character, I can’t just agree with his thoughts and actions. There’s way to much people who "worship" Kira.
