The theory is that L wants to be friends with Light because he’s the only one person who’s on his level of intelligence. He just knows that Light is as genius as he is and this means that Light is the only one who can understand him, same theory could be applied to Light, but for both of them is quite ambigous so it’s left for the viewer to decide.

hi <3 please don’t pop into my livestreams telling me to react to Death Note or Attack on Titan ("it’s been 2 weeks!"). I understand if you’re excited, but some people have become very impatient and/or pushy. I have another channel that plus Twitch that I stream on every single day, and that’s how I make my income and why I can keep creating content at all. This channel is not monetised.
If I didn’t post a reaction, it’s because I didn’t have time. I will get to it as soon as I can. Anime is a way for me to have fun, so if you make me feel like I "have to" post reactions, it won’t be fun anymore so there would be no point in doing these videos.
*rant over*

L is an intellectual prodigy. He’s kinda an oddball and a hermit, so he’s been alone for a long time. He probably sees Light as his equal, so he hopes Light is not Kira because he’s finally found someone he could connect with.
Ryuk is a proper shinigami. It’s said before, but shinigami have rules about how much they can help humans. Rem seems to bend the rules, probably out of respect for the other shinigami who died to save Misa. So Rem probably wants to protect Misa because of that.
Maybe you should do live reactions. And replace this with AOT. Or show less footage. Or perhaps, just show no footage but just reaction lol
