I think Misa gets a lot of blame for Light’s own mistakes. People always call her stupid for talking about the eyes and shinigami, but Light was the one who drew attention to them first by including shinigami in his pointless taunting messages to L. If Light hadn’t decided to smugly dangle the truth in front of L’s face for fun, Misa saying shinigami would have probably just been seen as a code word.

Misa’s stupidity can be frustrating, but it adds an element of realism (as far as having to deal with unforeseen obstacles) and probably helped to keep things interesting. Haha.

The entire reason why L freaked out when he said “i dont think you have the eyes” beacuse BB had the shinigami eyes (he didint even come in contact with a shinigami) BB is one the first genaration candidates to be L’s sucsessor and his real name is beyond birthday / rue Ryuzaki

@See Jane Go TV in episode 10 u said u wanna kill light am i right.let’s say if u had the death note u would have written his name because he is evil/murderer and i am 100% sure of it. so what kira/light doing is killing criminals.the only reason he had to kill those fbi guys because they are trying to catch him and if he get caught he can’t do his work. but don’t get me wrong when light killed that girl in episode 7 i cried for real and i can’t forgive him for that.

It’s interesting how much JV is against Kira. Obviously the show is intentionally structured with Kira seeming to be the hero but is actually the moral evil (or, fallen to evil on a misguided quest which reveals the true disposition). But I know very few people who on first watch were able to quickly get on the "catch Kira" train as fast as he did. And I’ve watched it with several newcomers on their first run. Its amusing to see JV and Jane demonstrate the different interpretations of this dichotomy.
