I usually hate dubs but if you watch FMA:Brotherhood, this is one of the only times where (along with Cowboy Bebop and YYH) the dub is superior. The emotional impact and voice acting was so perfectly made for it, the Japanese picked them after all.

Anastasia’s poker face is improving! Yes, I also find it weird for an intelligent FBI agent to confide ANYTHING to a stranger, much less a kid. Even one who sounds so knowledgeable about the case. In fact a more realistic character would have gotten extremely superstitious of him as he talked about things he shouldn’t know about. But then plot holes and conveniences exist to keep the story moving. In reality, most horror movies wouldn’t even take place as people would normally NOT go to that abandoned cabin in the woods…
A second episode that just cuts out mid-stride… TPPPPTTTT! Dammit! Whelp, until next time.

L doesn’t have a disorder. It explains it later but he sits that way to help him concentrate(which I’m pretty sure is true in really life)

One theory I heard is that L has scoliosis, if that’s the case then he sits that way because sitting normally would cause him pain and he wouldn’t be able to think as clearly. With all his other quirks could be just for the fact he’s a weird guy.

In the dubbed version, L’s voice matches the way he looks, it’s very monotone and depressed sounding, one of the reasons why I like him so much

Yeah, you WERE for Light when he was only killing bad guys, but now you can see that his God complex has made him lose any moral compass. It is now all about him winning against L and then putting himself up as the New God. That IS messed up.

She talks a lot to Light because he’s the son of the Police Chief the she was trying to talk to in the first place. His identity has been vouched for by the police staff by greeting him personally after Light introduced himself as the son of Yagami Soichiro in his presence. It could be both as a way to prove herself and her theory so that the police chief’s son will let her talk to him or in case he didn’t at least she has passed on a crucial information about Kira.
Too bad she didn’t know that Light IS Kira otherwise everything that she has done so far has been very logical.
