just wanted to say I love that you are doing this with your daughter as an anime junkie myself I love to do this with my kids although they only do it sometimes lol keep it up
and as someone who watched the whole series I feel just like your daughter as I’m watching with you and seeing as how your instincts are right on it makes for a great reaction vid having her there ….. Well happy watching and keep up the amazing work

I haven’t been watching a lot of videos from you recently because I haven’t seen Death Note, Westworld or House of Cards, and I just don’t pay too much attention to the comments in Rome because I’m also watching for the first time and don’t want to see spoilers.
Have you (or "Has she" if another viewer is kind enough to answer) explained why the book review stopped coming? Maybe you moved it over to a podcast with a friend? I hope it didn’t go away forever because I was really looking forward to it. The first (and only, I think) one was fun, I just wished it wasn’t a YouTube Live video and went chapter by chapter and talked about each for 5-10 mins or whatever.
I’ll play catch up when I watch the shows you’re watching, lol. Have a great day

Good cliff hanger, will he shorten his life for the Shinigami Eye’s?
Here’s a non-spoiler epiphany I just had. Since Ryuk is bored and is enjoying all the "interesting" things Light is doing, I would assume he doesn’t want to cut Light’s life so short that he wouldn’t be able to succeed with his goals (aka World Domination). So I assume that Ryuk sees Light having a long life and is comfortable enough to bargain for half of it. Does that mean even though Light has chosen to become "Kira" his life span isn’t shortened? Does that mean he isn’t fated to execution? Is this a Foreshadowing tool disguised as a CliffHanger?

So, Ryuk has TWO deathnotes and he dropped one? Which one is HIS and where did he get the other one. Looks like Ryuk is smarter than he lets on.
BTW, I had to pause because I’m babysitting my 13 yr old nephew and I saw him taking phone pics of his wrists. Always have to pay attention to abnormal behavior. So I turned his wrists over and… big rectangles made with a permanent BLACK MARKER on BOTH of his wrists. Seems Wolfie (youtube jokester) got another victim. I really started laughing at my nephew and had to say, "Do you SCIENCE???" No nephew of mine is going into school with evidence of taking troll bait so I used bleach and it came off.
Now, back to your reaction… Still laughing… Wolfie makes nice troll bait.

Ahaha I remember also rooting for Light the first time I watched it. He’s a great, interesting character. I haven’t seen this series in year so it’s fun getting excited for things I totally forgot happened.

I’m like you, always trying to analyze and figure things out BEFORE they happen. Poor Ana… Her poker face needs work but at least she didn’t crack. Myeah, Light is a bit uncaring when it comes to the women. Funny how that works. The irony is that sociopaths can be so charming and will take extra effort to win someone over but their motivation has nothing to do with actually loving the one they manipulate.
Light is too cocky. He is making decisions based upon his own inflated belief that his plans are flawless.
He’s been screwing up from the beginning.
1) He is too opportunistic. He shouldn’t have chosen for his first victim someone who was within Japan and most likely only was broadcasted in that country. Instead he should have looked on international news and picked a known terrorist.
2) His need to be recognized meant he needed to keep his murders in a pattern so it was obvious to any half decent investigator that something was up. Since when do truly righteous people seek the limelight? Shouldn’t doing good be reward enough?
3) He was easily goaded into murdering the fake "L" outright instead of allowing the open defiance of L and then having him die sometime in the future.
4) He thought he was clever by changing his killing times insinuating he has police information which would cause L to investigate the police. Oh sure he might cause some discordance, but he had to show his hand to L in order to create this chaos. Little Finger would shake his head. Make sure the chaos you create can NEVER be traced back to you.
5) Light has a God Complex which clouds his judgement and gives him an excuse to do impulsive things without actually thinking things through. He indeed is a child. I would NEVER have used his strategy.

Best thing about reactors is giving their opinions and then reacting to what happens. Just reacting without knowing what do you think it will happen is quite boring to be honest.
