Not alot of people have seen it because it’s a fanmade patchwork of scenes from the real manga and fanmade artwork, with a fans own plot. It’s basically a fanfic but using manga instead of text.

Nope! The original is better. It leaves you so unsettled, much suited to the series. This one is just poor extension.

What if every time Light died, he would start to look more and more like a shinigami? Like, after his first death, one of his fingers would turn into a claw or something. And it would keep going like that until he had suffered all the deaths and all his human features were gone. And then he would become a full shinigami and be given his notebook by the shinigami king. It would explain why Light is a shinigami in Death Note Relight, and why he didn’t remember who he was.

Really the best way to start season 2 I would like it to be titled “lights revenge” he makes a deal with the king and after he gets his revenge he goes back to the shinigami realm and becomes shinigami and drops the notebook.it’s just an non canon story for people who were on the light team 10 episode-ish would be good fan service.

If Light will ask Ryuk to kill him…then all of his efforts would be wasted and if that would be the real ending of the Death Note manga then they shouldn’t have created Death Note in the first place. Great ending by the way. (except the "Light asking Ryuk to kill him")

I prefer this ending much better and it really gives appreciation to Light’s character. A man with a plan even in the end. Afterall, you can’t kill a God.

Dang i thought his original manga death and anime death was good, but i think THIS should’ve been Light’s true ending right here. It’s a very fitting punishment to have him relive his victim’s deaths and the pain they felt. Not to mention have him regain his god complex and try to take over the shinigami realm as well? I love it.

I was a kid way back when i watched this anime. I hate the anime ending and i always reimagine this kind of scene to satisfy my hatred to the anime ending. It is todays age that i realized i was right all along.
