Breaking Down the New Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Poster
Today, we talk about the new poster for Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 and what it’s really trying to say. There have been a number of bad translations going around, so let’s try to clear it up! Hideaki Anno’s Neon Genesis Evangelion and the Rebuild of Evangelion series are deeply tied to Godzilla, Ultraman, and tokusatsu. With the release of last year’s Shin Godzilla, NGE has received even more attention and the final Rebuild film, Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 nears completion. Let’s look forward to Evangelion together!

I have a theory, i noticed this one is titled 3.0+1.0, the titles of the last three films, what if Shinji is gonna try to rewrite everything that has transpired in the last 3 films, Kaworu said it is possible to redo everything with the 2 spears so maybe this will be a literal rewrite, it’s the only way i can see things having a happy ending, or in the case of Anno, a somber and depressing yet semi hopeful ending.

I have faith that the last film Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0+1.0 will answer all are questions that need to be answered but I’m just disappointed that this will be the last film Anno makes for the franchise. Let me ask you a question, is it possible that at the end of 1.11 and 2.22 and 3.33 are all parts of 3.0+1.0? Remember after the credits in 1.11 & 2.22 & 3.33 there were those scenes that didn’t really make sense at all? What if those scenes are sections of 3.0+1.0?
Is it possible?

2.0 was by far the best of them, and only the first 10 minutes of 3.0 were good. It’s just terrible overall. And I really dislike the ending of End of EVA. I adhere to the original series as the only true ending and actually don’t like the rest, except for their visuals. And, quite frankly, Rebuild has always felt like a cash grab for me.

Hey dudes, how is this thing going ? I’v compltely loved the mai series and the movie EoE, but i’m waiting for the whole Rebuild to be realeased before start watching it.
I’m not specially impatient, since in my mind the story is already over with the 96’s movie, but i heard that the 3.0+1.0 is now on work for a loooong time, that’s why i’m wondering whether you think this movie will be out someday ?

Hoping we get to see, or at least hear mention of, the petrified Eva unit 1 seen floating in space towards End Of Evangelion’s ending ( redundant sounding) make a return in the 4th rebuild movie. Not sure how, but damn would incorporating that plot element be a nice bridge between the narratives. Especially with the theme of eternal recurrence the rebuild series has been suggesting ( such as the imprints left over from where the mass production EVA’s died seen in rebuild 1:11), would be genius on Anno’s part.

Well 3.0 was so incredibly stupid and lazy, that I don’t expect anything new. Cgi sucked. And plot was even worse. I can’t believe, that same person, who created original commit such idiotic trash. I’m pretty sure, now after part 3.0. That Yoshiyuki Sadamoto – creator of manga was very important for success of whole production.

3.0+1.0 may be a connector to a 2nd reboot like how End of Eva may have been the first connector. 1.0 could have been caused by escaping the third impact in eoe. look at the water in the rebuild series it’s red and you can see the blood stain on the moon I believe. In the original, there was little know about Lilith but Misato show Shinji early on in 1.11. That’s just my opinion though

I love both, Manga and anime and the both films of Evangelion of course, although I think The End of Evangelion movie is truly superb, not saying better than the manga but way too enigmatic for its own good, but in a really good for me nonetheless.
