Oonoki was always an conservative bullhead in the past. I mean he never fully trusted the other villages or the shinobi alliance, he also struggled with manpower in Iwa and he also did questionable things like hiring Akatsuki to help them out in wars.
I like the way how the boruto anime is dealing with his character right now and I am exited to see more of this story arc!

What if the curse Mark on mitsuki is actually a seal mark hiding a tailed beast? Making mitsuki a jinguriki. That would partially explain dragon sage mode possibly being a partial chakra cloak.

Looks like he accidentally learned from Madara… it’s white Zetsu all over again except borrowed from Bleach haha. wow when i seen that to were lot of jouin levels cold not take down 2 ppl. and then bam when boruto and them show up whos only genin was able to hold there own better then the jouinin levels did?. so i gause power level don.t matter no more in boruto then. joinin levels are sopsoe to much stronger then genin. like in the 1st naruto. 3 genins like naruto sasuke. and sakura could not even take kakashi down in tarining.
