O_O This is good character developement?. It’s pretty much the bare-minimum required for using the "school" setting for 30+ chapters.
Most manga have actual story/plot by now.
I’m at a loss how boku is more popular than Area D or "The Gamer" or a dozen other series with actual plots and character by this point in the chapter count.

I caught up with the manga.
It’s not bad,but it does not give me this weekly desire to read it,like Nanatsu no Taizai does.

@Chibi Reviews so youvthink that he series is going to take a root kind of like x men with the sentinels because if they do ill be really hyped. Also i think endeavor is more of the batman because the endeavor got the highest amounts of musteries solved

I mean I like Ochiko. And liked her character development.
But I just don’t see Bakugou losing lol. Even Todoroki is eyeing him and like the only student that could beat him lol.
Unless Izuku finds a way to beat him in his match with him.

So I just read this a couple of days ago and I’m up to date. I put it on hold for months because I’m in college but I had some free time and went through all the chapters. It’s an OK series to me. It’s not bad just not great. I absolutely love the art style and the dynamic shots it’s amazing. My only complaints are ones that I see constantly especially in Shonen Manga which are everybody is more entertaining and interesting than the main character. Noting has made me say wow I didn’t see that coming or noting has been original. The powers are the same but then again it’s impossible to have original powers in a world where comic books exist but that’s not a minus it’s just something I felt like saying.the character designs are cool and all but it still hasn’t wowed me. To me it’s just cool really. It has a cool art style some cool character designs and stuff here or there but it’s meh. It’s like a 6.5 to 7 and I hope it gets better and better.

Tokoyami better get that full-fledged fight in the semifinals. He’s slowly becoming my 2nd favorite character in this entire manga(behind Tsuyu Asui), and he seems like a very interesting character in the long run. My name’s Magi and I approve this message.

The tournament gimmick in shounen manga is really cliché but it works. It’s an easy way to develop side characters and show us a glimpse of their personalities while maintaining the hype for the protagonist.

chibi, in all respect, the mangaka is only showcasing side characters and quite frankly zooming through the first round, the only side characters that seem to have a lot of importance as of this moment, is ochako, iida, bakugo, todoroki and the bird guy ( this list excludes teacher)s. tbh other series such as naruto in beginning were good with side characters( obviously it fell off), definitely one piece etc just naming shonen

I’m sure bakogou will win this tournament and beat Suzuki in the final. But tokoyama without doubt is becoming my favourite. Guys a beast. Also I’m getting a vibe that ochaka has a crush in iida, which may hurt izuku. Might be an interesting dynamic there, like kakashi, run & obito love triangle. Anyhow, good review chibs

Boku no Hero is getting better with each chapter, with so much character development within the first 35 chapters. Ochiko is about to give Bakugou a run for his money. And Kirishima vs Tetsutetsu was too manly.
