The reveal was like this in the manga too lol, pratically everyone got confused there so you don’t have to worry- that was the effect Isayama was going for to the audience

If you look carefully at Reiner and Bertolt’s faces during their closeups right before they transform, the lighting shows their faces as their titans real quick. 11:39

Like what the hell. Last episode Bert suddenly started talking about ‘being a warrior’. I immediately guessed they were both titans. Then this episode we see Reiner still suffering from the bite and not ‘healing’. So I thought I was wrong. Then the show just gave me a middle finger with the reveal.
Best thing about AoT is that this isn’t the biggest ‘twist’ of the story

if you go back to season 1 you see everything differently it kinda was obvious with reiner he looks like the armored titan and bert is like the tallest guy

Since everything has been revealed .. what happens with Reiner is that he developed a personality disorder, to keep the lie, his mind created two personalities, one is a soldier of humanity who must protect the walls with his life, another is a warrior.

It’s about fucking time. This is the brilliance of this show. Everyone was so focused on ymir being the Titan that no one excepted such a big twist plus the casual way it was revealed is what makes this even more shocking. One of the biggest betrayal in anime ever. It only gets better from here guys. And remember to always pay extra attention to the subtitles. Any missed line could be of extreme relevance.

This is the worst reaction to this reveal lol.
Some other reactors did miss the part of "5 years ago we started our attack on humanity" but at least noticed the ” I’m the armored and he’s the Colossal" part. The only good thing about this reaction is Omar’s scream at the end ?

titans can regenerate their bodies even in their human form , just like eren , his leg and arm regenerated after he was eaten ( season 1 episode 5)
ps : I blame the sub loyalists for you missing the reveal . Dub was created for a reason . so that we can understand clearly what’s being said, and not rely on some half ass subtitle . this is not against you , but a certain group of sub fanatics who harass reactors online if they dare watch an anime in dub .
Manga and Anime creators work A LOT to create entertainment for us . i’m here for them , not for the voice actors , and not for subtitle creators ( at least , they are not my priority while enjoying my anime ) . i’m here for the fabulous drawings and the storytelling, 🙂
also anime creators are not out there forcing people to watch the sub versions, on the contrary , they want us to understand quickly everything
