guys! i have a theory, say you wanted the quirk one for all. i believe instead of saying that u would need to be more specific, u should OFA g:8(8th generation aka all mights version of the quirk) i believe that every user of the quirk uses it didfferently so u would have to specify which generation. like how izukus take on the quirk looks different too all mights, izukus produces lightning/fire(when in infinite 100%) while all might doesnt need that since he was gifted with a strong body. what if the 7th (all mights teacher/tomutas grandma) had a different way of using it too, as to say it looked different, possibly she was able to enhance a single part of her body and use that instead of spreading it out like Izuku

Aoyama is one of my favorites from the series just based off personality alone. I’ve only been watching the anime since volume 5 but it’s taking a long time (currently on season 3) for his ACTAUL time in the spotlight which upsets me. He’s been the one character I’ve been wanting to show significant progress or an origin story. I mean Mineta even has a small one near the end of season 2 out of all characters but he’s had the short end of the stick multiple times sadly.

Hi Chibi! I’m french and I wanted to explain you the sentense Aoyama wrote because the english translation isn’t very accurate.
"Il faut se méfier de l’eau qui dort" translated litterraly is "Don’t trust sleeping(=calm) water".
It means that we should beware of calm individuals because they can be most dangerous ones.
I hope you’ll understand what I tried to say! By the way, sorry for my bad english!

I honestly think Aoyama IS the traitor but no longer I feel Izuku has changed him and caused him to want to get near Izuku for the sake of his life he knows their plans and I think he knows the OTHER traitor I believe there is more than one. Whoever it is is close to Izuku as well but he’s so far in he cant get out so he’s playing both sides but is favoring being a hero more.

Where I come from (Europe), that expression is usually reserved for somebody who doesn´t speak their mind, even thou they have complex thoughts. Izuku pretty much tells us every think he thinks, so he aint really a still water =D

Boy I’m late! Well, it’s pretty obvious Deku’s self esteem is low, considering the events of the last arc and it’s aftermath. So now he’s starting to doubt himself a bit, Deku is his own worst critic after all. Looks like he’s making some progress in that last panel, now that Aoyama cheered him up. In regards to Aoyama, yes I have my questions.

I thought that crapping-pants scene was more of a deflection since he made a serious face like he knows something and to hide it he says that. Also, I think Aoyama knows more than he’s letting on. Im sorry but aoyama is my least favorite character, in my opinion he is just lame, his quirk is lame, his costume is lame, his personality is lame i just cant get behind him i would much rather have development for other chracters besides aoyama, there are characters in class 1-B that i would swap out for him in a heartbeat

He is not the/a traitor. Just a guy who hides his self doubt behind a sparkly curtain. He craps his pants when he uses his powers too much, he has almost no social skills.
He is real perceptive, though. People in the background usually are.
Too much evidence against the traitor theory. Besides, Aoyama isn’t a real popular character. If he was the traitor, there wouldn’t be much emotional impact, to the audience or in universe.
Aoyama is just Aoyama.
