Finally got around to checking out Megalo Box anime and hear our my thoughts and an overview of the first episode! Overall, I think the first one was pretty solid and I look forward to checking out the rest!

Very awesome Vid Dave the Clip at the beginning is a great start to any review along with minor pictures of the scenes you are talking about. Honest feed back is always key plus the Anime itself does have a very great art style. So all in all nice new start to doing Anime reviews.

Great job dave! I appreciated the fact that you compared it to another anime to give you a frame of reference for what to expect. If I had one critique, maybe a little less plot synopsis and a little more critique, but I guess I couldn’t expect anything else since it was a review of a single episode of anime (which only gives you so much material to work from). As long as you keep bringing the same kind of style and fun to the vids as you do to the twitch stream you’ll do great, and the vids will get even better the more of them you put out. Keep it up!

love the first review dave, and I agree that it puts off the same vibe as stuff like samurai champloo and it kinda reminded me of cowboy bebop, keep up the good work bro

Hey Dave, for a first anime review, this was pretty solid. You had the visual, a quick intro and outro, and nice bit of recap with your thoughts. IF you want to, you can have it be less of a episode recap and more of your thoughts or have more of what you liked and disliked for each of the major scenes as you go through the recap. Whatever you find natural to do. aside from that, your greenscreen would make the presentation a bit more professional for any future reviews.

Regarding the 90s vibe, they downscaled and re-upscaled the video to help give it that raw gritty look. Love the video, hope you keep them comin!
