Which makes My Neighbor Totoro a Movie For Adults. I rewatched the Studio Ghibli anime movie My Neighbor Totoro the other day, and I didn’t think I’d have as positive a reaction as I did. I expected it to be boring, but watching it as an adult made it amazing and interesting. This is my analysis/review/podcast thingy about what makes it such a great movie, where I dig in deep to find the reasons. The main reason I give is that it portrays kids in a way that I feel is much more realistic than most other films, but there are other reasons as well that I will go into in this video.
