I think ep 1 of Black clover is not that WOW, but Black clover is amazing, so if you want to whatc it all, check a bit more episodes, like, Black clover is a big series, so one episode is small fraction of it. My favorite part for egxample, it is the black bulls, so Enjoy.

Ooohhh Ruff I promise you’ll love this one. The main characters are similar to One Piece’s in that they’re almost like a family to each other and it has so many fantastic moments that can give you goosebumps or almost make you cry.

black clover is one of these anime that starts slowly and asta screaming might be annoying but it gets much better. I see asta’s screaming as something he does bcs no one took him seriously. I think by ep 20, he calms down.

I’m not sure if this is the case, but I think Asta’s yelling might be a coping mechanism. He’s 15, was abandoned as a child, and has no magic. If I was in that situation, I would think the latter two were connected. Since he doesn’t want to be forgotten or abandoned, he needs to be loud, because that’s the only part of him that he feels will make him memorable. No clue if that’s accurate, but it’s what comes to my mind.

you asked for the hype/interesting episodes so here you go (this is made according to me, so yall free to correct me if I said something wrong or add stuff I missed):
Episode 4 and 5 (they go together but it is okay if u only watch 4): purely for the fact that you get to meet one of the fan-favorite characters
Episode 20: meet one character formally and get to know some interesting dynamics, its major world-building you can still skip this though
Episode 35: A major fight that gives out lore to the first major arc which will span over 119 episodes
Episode 49: Another major fight and one of the fan favorites
Episode 54: This might just be me, but this episode builds up several characters in my eyes so it’s interesting
Episode 63 and 64: the animation choices in 63 will not be for everyone but 64 is quite special and these two episodes just resonate
Episode 80: It might be one of the coolest ones in Black Clover
Episode 84: One of the main character’s time to shine, stunningly animated
Episode 91: This episode is just this one character flexing on everyone
Episode 92, 93: I STRONGLY recommend watching both together, they are beautiful and one of the best battles in BC
Episode 100: Because this is the other best battle in BC
Episode 119: The best of the best Black Clover offered during it’s first arc
Episode 151: This episode nearly made people cry from hype
Episode 158: If there is anything BC does good, it’s come back with a bang and this episode is just gorgeous proof of that
After 158 we are basically in a new arc that always gets a lot of views so if you just watched the episode by episode they all are animated amazingly and the fights are good (167, 168 just hits different in terms of fights and world-building) and the hype is too high if you made it that far. I am certain the views will be good

Asta yells so much because of 2 reasons:
1. The voice actor was very new so he didn’t knew how to properly voice Asta, but he gradualy improved over the next 10 episodes.
2. There is a reason in lore, but it would spoil a character building moment. So we can’t disclose anything further about that.

Okay.. about black clover, it’s a long anime and it’s super hyped but i don’t think that it’s the kinda of anime u could react too, yes it contains some wild ass fights but it contains some filler episode and some boring episodes but overall it’s a 8,8/10 anime and u would definitely enjoy watching it but as for reacting (business) i don’t think it will work out for u and this is only my opinion but in return i suggest short animes like vinland saga it definitely is reaction material

i hope you watch Black Clover as recent as possible , it has soooo many great moments and its a really great anime overall , in my opinion the BEST new generation anime and i was soo sad that it ended but still had a great ending unlike Attack on Titan part 1 , and btw Ruff if you watch Black Clover please dont watch just certain episodes but the series as a whole its really great

Yo black clover is an amazing show! its a show that use common shounen trope but mold it in its own unique way. At first, you will see similarities that this show have with other popular shounen, but later on it become something on its own and seeing asta’s journey is absolutely amazing especially since the anime already ended for the time being. And yeah, he’s loud but it his voice gets better after couple episodes.

I couldn’t get into the anime because of the screaming. I read the manga instead. I read about 60 chapters. And it was so… average. Nothing really bad, nothing great either.

Black Clover is a mix of a a lot of anime, but it always has its own unique twists. And yeah, the screaming gets better. Mostly because Asta no longer gets ignored by people around him, so he doesn’t have to shout as much.

The “Everything Great about…” series of “Anime Wins” (I think thats the right channel); seemed to take a few parts for me to see a significant increase in likes and such some parts were older than some of the later by the time I started that series and caught up.
I bring this up as it takes a bit for the Crazy hype episodes to appear; so i wanted you to know that it might not be until as late as episode 50ish for you to get the big viewership numbers you seek.
Black Clover is a truly unique case where the pacing is hard to explain; its a fast paced slow burn of a series. Lots of build up to things to come like One Piece but at the same time they some times change everything in the span of 3 or less episode mini story arcs.
My highest praise go this series; but its tempered by the fact that I think it took to long to hook me. It might hook you around episode 18 if not before as thats one of the first hype arcs.
Asta is tough to like because of his loudness; but he and many characters grow on you the more you see of them.
I wish you take this all the way; you won’t be dissapointed.

16-19fairly regularly are the small hype moments but the one that hits everyone pretty solidly is around 50 and its the full battle and character growth throughout it that is legendary hype (exagerated a bit but that was the episodes that sold me and turned me into a fan; where I first saw where the story was heading and fell in love with the cast and the moments yet to come.

Asta’s yelling is for nobody but himself, it’s a coping mechanism to try and convince himself that he can do it. Unlike Naruto, who screams/ annoying to attract people’s attention, Asta is the only magicless creature born in a world where magic is everything.
As for Asta’s Book/ Grimoire, the anime didn’t adapt it very welll, in the manga… it is clear that the book comes out of the wall next to Asta.. that’s how he gains that book. I suggest you to keep reading the manga chapters that cover the episodes you watch because the anime sometimes either censors stuff,completely skips it or ruins great moments. You have to keep reading the manga along with watching the anime, you must do both.

I didn’t think much of black clover in the beginning, it looks like a generic Shounen with the “I’m gonna be the King of the Hokages” wannabe protagonist. It’s not a very original anime, but it takes the generic Shounen tropes and does them right, also, it just gets better and better as it goes. I’m really happy that you’re reacting to this, hopefully you’ll keep reacting to this series 🙂

The reason Asta screams so much is because he’s screaming to himself. The dude has no magic, so he’s yelling to convince him there’s still hope.
As the story progresses and he gets stronger. He starts to believe more in himself and screams less and less until he almost stops with it.
He’s a great character when you get the hints.

The first few episodes of this are pretty generic to other people but if you can make it past like I think it was 20+ episodes, it starts to get better. I don’t usually comment on videos unless it’s something that I’m really passionate about it and this is one of them. I really hope you continue this even in your own time because it gets crazy in the later episodes.

I also really have to mention how amazingly, all the characters, but the female characters in particular are written in this series. Tabata makes sure none of his female characters feel out of place, they are all contributing in some way to what is going on, and they have just as much screen time and character development as the male characters.

The thing about black clover being “generic” is mostly because it knows it’s shounen. It takes all the tropes we love in shounen, puts them together. and just rocks with it. It doesn’t try to be “unique” or different, which often lead to a really good, or really… Nah series.,
Personally, I LOVE IT. And it rocks some of the very generic shounen things REALLY well. sometimes even better than the shounen’s that those tropes started from.
BUt then again, it may be just a personal opinion, but decided to comment anyway. (for the algorithm.)

I was watching this weekly back when it first aired, but I ended up dropping it around episode 10 or so because people couldn’t stop screaming and complaining about Asta’s voice, which is super ironic, that people would complain so much they became a thousand times more annoying than what Asta has ever been.

Asta still yells in the later episodes but it’s not for every sentence and he stops the revving type of scream which is really good(he stops pretty early on).

The story starts to really pick up around eps 30-35, that’s when I started to really like Black Clover myself (+ Asta’s yelling thankfully calms down eventually).

Not sure if this will actually make this better, but this anime is heat. People didn’t give it a chance because of the similarity between it and other shonen, but trust me it is heat. Asta isn’t annoying after about 10 episodes and actually becomes super likeable. The best thing about the anime is the pacing and community feel. I highly suggest you watch it, even if it’s just in your free time. Everyone that watches it binges the rest over the course of a week or two so please give it a shot.

It’s a good thing that the yelling is only an issue during the first 10-20 episodes. Past that point, the yelling get’s less obnoxious and less frequent while Asta get’s less annoying in general. Plus the animation also goes from ok/good to extremely good during that time, since the studio resolved it’s resource problems at a certain point. Especially for the openings.

I would definitely continue Black Clover at one point. It’s pretty much becoming one of the biggest shounen anime of the modern times, that’s how good it is. Like Naruto Fairy Tail and such, which do became better and more loved the more time passes. The sales are also really good and it’s among the top 100 on Netflix. Plus we will even get a movie soon. The story is pretty neat for a shounen anime, the soundtracks are epic, grat designs and extremely good animation later on.

The reason why Asta is loud and annoying is it’s a coping and motivation method. He is a person without magic in a world where magic is everything, so this is the anthem he uses to push forward to reach for his dreams and to never give up. The problem is the Japanese VA overdid it, which was somewhat corrected in the English dub. Asta is still loud and annoying in the English dub as he should be, but as a viewer it’s much more tolerable.

I’d say wait until episode 23 to see if this show is something your interesting in watching/ reacting. Around episode 49 is where things get really cool which I guess is “React worthy” lol. This is a type of show were it does get better over time and waiting patiently is required. Good thing is though there’s not too many filler at least compared to something like Naruto so you won’t have to skip too many episodes to go to the actual story. After watching 150 something episodes I’d say it’s worth sticking around for, the last arc alone is God Tier enough to be some of my favorite moments in shonen history. Whatever you decide I’m sure it would make a lot of Black clover fans happy for this series to get the recognition is deserves 🙂

First one is because this is the Voice Actor’s first major role (right now though he’s also the VA for Fireforce’s MC) and the director isnt doing their job well, it does start out pretty rough with that yelling but after Ep. 4 it does start to get better bit by bit, Ep. by Ep.
The other reason why Asta yells all the time Ytuber Gigguk goes over in a nice video he did about it ( “Black Clover Does NOT Suck Anymore.” ) a couple years ago. It would easier (and shorter) to watch that then for me to type it all out here.
Why did he back up afraid? You kidding me? Asta prolly has the grip strength of a steel bear trap, I sure as hell wouldnt want to be within reach of him is he was pissed at me. Well hopefully you pick this up.
The fire Episodes? There are many, well many that at least have moment or three of fire. The ones that I think you’ll want to catch are 17, 46, 49, 80, 83 & 83, 84, 91-93, 100, 108, 115-119, 151, 158, 161-163, 166 & 167 and finally 170. Those are the ones that I at least think are reaction worthy.

IMO: Allonsyyy ditched the series before it got hyped and “threatened” his viewers that he was dropping the series if not enough people watched and it got low ratings (TBH, that’s a HUGE turn off…) The anime gets better after each arc and it was a missed opportunity for him, but what do I know? (other reactors have had success with the series)… What is REALLY important is that YOU enjoy the series and provide a genuine reaction. I am sure you will have success reacting to Black Clover!!

I think the algorithm is working out finally!
