The only thing I would change would be to make Joe sound more like Spike Spiegel, but I’m not 100% sure that would make it better or that the fans would like it… But it’s just an idea.
(Not because they look similar but because Joe looks like he would have a deeper more gravelly voice even for such a young guy, living in the ghetto/streets is tougher the living in the city center)

From someone who has seen this Japanese version, I personally like the choice of voice actors, that were chosen for the english dub. To ANYONE who hasn’t seen this anime yet. I promise this is different, old school anime style, and very well told.. Hopefully they dont fuck it up. Lol

Show was fantastic and definitely deserves tv time. The dub sounds great although joes voice is a bit deep sounding but great none the less. I really hope it does well.

This show was super underrated. It came out the same time as My Hero Academia s3, Steins;gate 0, SAO: Gun Gale, and 7 Deadly Sins part 2 to name a few, so it didnt get a ton of attention. Can’t wait to watch the dub.

I will definitely be watching this show tomorrow night on Adult Swim Toonami. I’m liking the animation style for this show so far, it reminds me of Cowboy Bebop. This show also gives off a cool late 90s and early 2000s vibe. 🙂

Honestly when I saw this I thought they were just finally Dubbing old school anime.but this is fresh and new but it has the art style aesthetic of Cowboy Bebop I’m definitely getting ringside seats for the show
