It’s impossible to be good at aiming using the crude guns they had in the beginning of the movie. They weren’t much more than simple cannons, the explosion all depends on how much powder was used.

It’s way easier to understand whats going on if you stop asking whats going on. Movies generally shouldn’t tell you exactly what’s going on at all times, as that would be a sign of a bad movie.

Not bad, but it’s no good at all. I think this part can not be translated into other languages.
This movie is very deep.
When you learn the sensitivity of the Japanese, I think you can feel this movie ten times wonderful.

This is probably the only movie with an environmental message that I like… Usually, those kinds of movies are very black and white, whereas this one doesn’t really have characters that’re completely evil or good. While one might not necessarily side with her, Eboshi is still a sympathetic character for what she stands for (she saves girls from sexual slavery, and her goal with going after the Deer God’s head is all because she wishes to heal the lepers that’re working for her).
