I feel like the translation in dub just doesn’t have the same attitude, and Levi seems too relaxed (no offense to the actor, he just seems different to me). In the original, Levi has one of the most famous Japanese voice actors of all time and he does an incredible job. Attack on Titan (the original w/Subs) has a stacked cast of voice actors for Levi, Eren, Hange, and Erwin have had several strong lead roles, and even Reiner and Armin’s voice actors have many characters you have heard of before in the original language. This show is not a bad dub, but the voice actors in the original are so incredible it is worth having to read.

I’m glad you watched this scene but it is alos shame you watched it like this without having the context of watching the rest of the show, you don’t really get the scale of how important and crazy this scene was, it was such an anticipated fight for the anime onlys and especially for the manga readers. This show definitely has the potential to become a classic, if you are a manga reader you know what I’m talking about.
