So much emotion, so much feeling in the "bakugou" recue scene and in the final scene! This is a amazing master piece! The studio is doing a unbelieveable good work in this anime, because they can make us feel exaclty what the characteres are feeling!

Does that mean that one day… there might be a villain that has powers that no one is compatible against, and no one will be able to stand up to them, except for the MC…? I don’t know… just some thoughts…
And personally… it is one of the better anime of this season. But… I like the concept of Koutetsujou no Kabaneri better… but this series is certainly one of the top 5 if not the top 2, I am looking forward to, as I watch this anime season. It’s very good. But for me, it’s not the top… maybe number 2. Of course that is subject to change in the future…

Manga is not as good as I like it. It’s really cliché and just forces too much content upfront through words instead of images/actions. The anime is doing a good job of portraying the story through pivotal pinpoints on specific actions a character does – and removes that flaw of the manga. This makes BHA an enjoyable shounen as an anime as long as it isn’t overly drawn out.

For me the situation of the heroes was showing that even the "quirky" superheroes can be helpless and unable to do anything against the situation. The giant girl was too big to fit in the street, and the other heroes were either unable to inflict damage or fire was their "one mortal weakness" and even a quirkless person have the potential to help. Although nobody noticed that Izuku discovered the fluid guy’s weakness when he injured his eye.
The lack of "taking action" from the heroes were understandable because if they just jump in and get killed or unable to fight there will be nothing to hold back the damage and the villain.
The scene showed All Might’s inner struggle about thinking that it is impossible for him to transform again and cursing his own weakness, then pushing himself beyond his limits because of Izuku’s bravery.

‘you too can be a hero.’ as deku heard these words, these six simple words, words that he needed his mother to say so long ago. Words that he needed to hear for all these years, he wept in relief, letting out the years of pain, of self doubt, of powerlessnes, and all might stood there, watching the boy who inspired him to be the hero deku believes him to be.

If I had to guess then I think we are hearing the story be told from an adult Izuku/Deku relaying the story to maybe his own pupil(10th in line of his quirk maybe?). The other could be he’s retelling his life story as a tale of hope but one of caution as well to the next generation or maybe just writing down a diary record.

I’m up to date with the manga, which is epic and I’m glad this has a good studio animating it, I like Noragami but I really hope the ending does NOT go the way of the Soul Eater (btw I loved the manga of Soul Eater and its sad the anime kinda brings down it’s pretty good conclusion)
I’m most impressed with the soundtrack though

I really wanted to know who composed that amazingly uplifting soundtrack for that last scene. The composer for My Hero Academia is one of the 2 composers who did the music for Haikyu… No wonder it’s so freaking good! Yuuki Hayashi is the bomb!

As an anime only I went in completely blind about plot, theme etc… I was sceptical to this series at first due to it being compared to Naruto. Don’t hate me but Naruto never grabbed me but admittedly I only watched like 6 episodes. But holy fuck I’m glad I started watching this, instantly got me hooked with the tone of it, the music, art and animation. The story is relatable and inspiring, and the delivery and pacing seems perfect so far. I can relate to Izuku as I always looked up to superheroes growing up also and was and still into Marvel comics and animations. So I love the comic design they’ve gone for. I’m upset we’re only getting 13 episodes. I’m very sold.

Better than the first episode. Though that’s not saying much. May drop this one. For as much praise and hype I’ve been fed for this series It’s been pretty sub-par so far.
