AOT is stretching thin just for the sake of popularity. Dress Up Darling and Spy x Family are original and MUCH BETTER and deserve to be higher on the list. It is getting to be predictable now how much of a hard-on Mojo has for mediocre anime.

Although I like Bastard (and I absolutely adore the OP, that song really is my kind of shit), I don’t think it should have made the list in stead of Summer time render or other shows. Also, although I knew it would be AoT from the beggining, I was really hoping that Spy x Family would take the first spot. It’s one of the best manga adaptations to have been made and every other adaptations should take example from it. For now, it’s my personal anime of the year.

AOT has surpassed everything. Its not just on of the best animes of all time. Its a culutural phenomenon and one of the defining shows on air today, not just in anime.

As a manga reader Attack on Titan The Final Season became a disappointment for me. The reason was that the season was rushed by Mappa. There were moments where I have expected better mostly based on the music but it failed. Had the Mangaka waited, we could’ve had a good season in 2022 but I’m more glad Wit Studios focused more on Ranking of Kings and Spy Family.
