Marathons always happen during a Holiday weekend and Toonami’s no exception. Instead of airing new episodes when folks are out enjoying the holiday, they’ll run a marathon instead to maximize on the potential ratings for when they have a premiere. This isn’t new. TV is a business and complaining about it won’t do you any good. You’ll have to tough it up until the following week.

Love Toonami but it seems like they’re really dropping the ball with AOTS2. They started behind then fell another week behind after a marathon. Now they’re gonna be behind ANOTHER week because they need a 4th of July marathon on July 1st. SMH

I saw this promo, and was impressed. I’ve already seen Season 2 and I’m waiting for the dub to finish so I can watch it, but I’m not gonna watch it on Toonami, since I don’t have cable TV. I’ll watch it on my phone
