I was in college when season one was released. Can’t believe it’s been eight years… Enough time for me to fall in love, graduate, get a job, get married, buy a house, become a father of two, move the family abroad for work, and now season two has arrived at last. What a journey!
And who knows? Maybe season three will release when my kids are in middle school and season four when one of them is heading to college while the other one is learning to drive.

I’ve been waiting for 8 years for this anime to get another season and this season’s art is more like LN but after knowing ln ending it seems as if the wait feels futile and makes me so disappointed, why should Chiho? Even if the characters are there or not in the story it doesn’t have a big influence, how can a story this good have a rubbish ending, why build a relationship between Maou and Emi if maou end up with Chiho, I hope anime has a different ending than ln

Huge spoiler on who maou ends up with dont read unless you wanna know:
So idk why did this to myself but I researched who Maou ends up with in the end and it turns out that Maou ends up with Chiho not Emi 😢which I just found really disappointing. Now ill also add that this was the light novel ending but I still find this really disappointing because the anime follows the manga and the manga is following the LN( although the LN is complete, the manga and anime obviously aren’t yet). Also I hate when authors tease the audience with everyone wanting the mc and fmc to be together just to change it in the final chapter😡. So now I’m not sure if I wanna watch this now cuz Maou x Emi was the main reason why I watched it. Now I’m just hoping that the manga or anime doesn’t follow the LN
