i think the final fight will start next week and finish in the episode after . And then there would probably be the second half of the episode with them talking or something .

That’s why the adaptation of lightnovel is almost impossible, it lacks so much information in the animated version, I guess you did not really understand what Kirito try to do with the flowers… That’s why you say that this is impossible … it’s called "Incarnate System"! This was first introduced in Accel World, but it was in Project Alicization that it was created.

i forgot what it’s called in english translation but basically kirito used his willpower to overwrite the data. he used the sword skill Vorpal Strike, and his willpower changed his appearance to his SAO days. same thing happened in the past, for example asuna moving while being stunned by kayaba in season 1

The final battle is in 2 weeks most certainly. Although honestly I’m curious how it’s gonna be since 40 minutes seems like a lot of time to animate the rest at this pace. Will the final battle be as amazing as the opening? Uhhhhhhh……… no…? It’s not as long as Fanatio Synthesis 2 but is longer than Bercouli (I think lol). Without spoiling, it’s different than the opening, same concept tho.

Its due to Incarnation. AKA Power of your imagination in VR. Vorpal Strike, the skill Kirito used, is one of his most used one-hand sword skills back in SAO. During his days as the Black swordsman. Therefore its connected too much to his time there, so much that he tries not to use it as much as possible. He’s killed quite a number of red players with that skill after all, the trauma still remains.
Anyways, Vorpal Strike was so connected to his time in Aincrad, that to him, using that move subconsciously made him feel like he was back in those days, hence, him imagining and gaining the Black swordsman get-up for the duration that he used Vorpal strike.

It was obivous that Alice and Kirito weren’t going to die, but really the loli comes, heal’s them LIKE NOTHING and they get up like NOTHING happened.
The fight between the clown was really bad and just TOOO fast…
