This is why this show bugs me. Specifically this fight. Deku tried really hard to beat muscular but is clearly outmatched. So what does he do? He punches him really hard in this dramatic moment. BUT, it doesn’t work. This would have been a great moment to do something interesting or unique or something. What happens instead? Deku punches him REALLY HARD and kills him INSTANTLY! :O
The main protagonists ability just makes opportunity for lazy conclusions to problems that the characters face. Muscular could have been a good character to keep around for the future but nope. All you have to do is pUsH pAsT yOuR lImItS.

One thing that always gets me, though, is everyone seems to have their own idea of Plus Ultra being this special power or spirit thing, when it’s literally just the school’s motto. It’s literally Latin for ‘Further Beyond’ – and it’s the UA way of saying "I won’t accept my limits."

My favorite episode so far, not just of season 3 but the entire show. Something about it just really got to me. I’ve never been so hype and I’ve never loved Deku more. "I will not let him past me" and apologizing to his mom, just…. wow. Also, ‘red hulk’ guy was legitimately intimidating, which I’ve felt with very few villains. Now I really can’t wait for the rest of this season.
Also, the idea of Bakugo getting his quirk taken is amazing. His reaction… The discussions really are great.

Continuosly using 100% of the power and then a 1000 000% to finish it off. I’m surprised Deku’s arm didn’t actually explode to bits.
*Edit:* even though the 1000 000% isn’t apparently actually 10 000x stronger, it’s more about Deku pumping himself up.

I think the most impressive about this episode is whenever you watch it, even just a clip or reaction, you kinda feel the same adrenalin high as Deku. Every single time after watching I get all restless… and have a big dumb smile
