An unboxing of the prototype of the new Photon G4 saber hilt by Singapore based company SaberMach, their interpretation of the Kagemitsu G4 photon saber from Sword Art Online, my favorite anime.

Hey there, Shameem! I cannot recall if you have ever done an install on the Korbanth DM1 2.0. I am looking to buy one from TCSS and do the install myself. I have only done one other install and it was on an SF Dissident. Do you have any idea how much more difficult the install on the DM1 would be? I am pretty skilled with soldering and wire management if that helps with determining the skill necessary for that kind of install. Something that I’ve heard and read on forums is that the install is not the hard part about it, rather putting all of the small pieces os the hilt together is where the difficulty is at its peak. Hi Shameem, I have a big favor to ask, Saberforge is making a limited run of their Darth Nihilus hilt and they won’t be able to make them if they don’t get 35 preorders and sadly they only have 5 orders. So I was wondering if you could possibly make a video about it. I would be entirely grateful!!!

I really wish this had a slide switch like it looks in the anime. GCS does it with the AScend, but the led holder it milled slightly to make that work. Maybe something similar could be done on this.

Aye fam I got a question for you, how much cheaper would it be to install the electronics and lights ect in a hilt myself compared to getting on pre installed from somewhere like saberforge? Because I’ve been wanting to get the heretic Hilt from saberforge and if it’s far cheaper to install it myself I’d rather do that instead of pay an extra $100 or so bucks.
