i understand your anger… the NERV company treated shinji’s pretty rough compare of how much they need him. but something u
should understand, lets say i work at any success company and that i am the worker that brings the hugest benefits… its still not makes me immune to get fired or to act outside the red standarts… even if shinji’s possibly can save the earth
at the time he’s father cut he’s controlling at the eva01 at the beggining of the episode shinji said he might destroy half of NERV… at this moment do you think anyone in nerv would want this hero inside he’s eva?
and judge him was mostly to see how stable he is i believe to know if they can work with him… since he said he want quit and they just let him… if it was a real trial they would’ve put him in jail
and also u said "even if its help humanity shinji’s dont deserve" referring to the attitude they gave him…
– i think if saving humanity lay on 1 person.. then they should treat him in any way (include the worst) for makes him success in that

The red thing is the S2 engine as far as I understand, it’s their source of power. NERV couldn’t make them work so, the Evangelions don’t have them, except for unit 01 which has a non-functional one… well, until…

"I want those guys to beg on their knees"… I wouldn’t be so hard on NERV and NERV personnel… but I do understand your feelings. The point is that Shinji, also, has some growing up to do — and it’s not clear that he’s on the path that leads toward that growth.

There was no need to have the eva crush the entry plug. His father could’ve shut down dummy plug after the angel was neutralized but he let it continue till it crushed the entry plug.

Back when you watched Carnival Phantasm, you said you’d watch a show made of nothing but Saber. You sorta got your wish. Ufotable just made a slice of life cooking anime about Shirou cooking things, Saber eating them and most of the F/SN cast alive and happy.

The thing is if an angel enters central dogma and meets let’s just say Adam for now, the world will end.
Shinji is the only one who can pilot Eva 1 for reasons yet to explained. So if he does nothing, the world will come to an end and Shinji will die too and he’s aware of it.
So the real question goes back to EP11. Why does Shinji pilot Eva. What is his reason? To save the world? For who’s sake? Does he care about the rest of the world? Is Toji’s life more important than all other people? He doesn’t even know Toji that well. He’s pissed at his father because "his father got Toji killed" or "because his father got Toji killed with his hand"
In the end, what is it that Shinji really wants?
Instead of being forced, one should only take the path at one’s own will.
