The best part about the angels designs in the series is that the artitsts probably read biblically descriptions of angels and tought "thats to much we need to make it more friendly"

The most terrifying angels were Sachiel (first) ramiel (singing geometry) and Zeruel (noodle arms). Because for all 3 they threw everything they had at them and it was nothing. They did make a plan for ramiel pretty fast and that took it down a bit. But for sachiel and zeruel, nothing was really effective except for unit 1 going berserk. Bardiel is close but that’s because they took an EVA
