While this is obviously a wish-fulfilment-fantasy-comedy, I think it’s important to keep in mind that the most powerful dude around is within the influence of those two girls. Were this show and the original source material more interestingly written, I could see them purely manipulating him for their own ends. While there is some of that going on, it’s not to that much of an extent. Also, they did summon him, so there’s something to be said for that.
I do like that this show is equal in its love of large and small breasts.
The highly exposed clothing is probably just for fanservice purposes IRL but if we had to come up with in-universe reasons, I can come up with a few.
1. Shera’s more well-endowed body generates more heat so she needs more exposed skin for ventilation purposes, she’s also an archer so attacks at a distance and doesn’t need full coverage as much as she needs ventilation. Finally, I doubt any practical piece of armour would fit over that chest. I imagine it’s already very hard for her just to draw her bow.
2. Demi-humans are treated poorly by the more numerous and influential humans and the revealing clothing on the women is probably an indication of the subservient place the demi-humans have in society. They were probably treated as slaves at one point too, assuming they still aren’t in some cases, so the revealing clothing is probably a holdover from that as well, just something they’ve continued as the norm culturally. Less clothing is much cheaper too and I imagine magic or enchanted threads are expensive. Notice that Celestine, the head of the magic association, is fully covered, no doubt a sign of her wealth and status. She’s also human, so that seems to fit as well.
