I agree with you I half expected Vegeta smiling and being happy with the whole thousands of dead puppies line popping underneath because of that. Plus if you think Tien has the best lines, oh my God you ain’t seen nothing yet just wait until a certain part comes up later on you’ll be impressed. I’m not going to spoil it for you.

So just in case wanted to point out that in the original DBZ Goku never took the medicine because the virus never kicked in until later for some reason. In Trunks timeline Goku died from the virus 6 months prior to the androids attack. Guessing all the extra training may have slowed its progression or something.
