Yeah, I’m going to need a full remix of “Let’s all go to hell and make a cellphone” plus merch on my desk by Friday.

Well, Tsukasa only wants to kill Senku really (and maybe Chrome). As long as the scientist is gone and the rest don’t try to keep fighting, Tsukasa has no beef with most of them. As Senku said in season 1, “Tsukasa is a good guy who just so happens to be a murderer.”

Also I’d assume the big moral quandry is them lying that the rest of the world is okay. Presumably if you were given that false hope, you’d be pissed afterwards.

I completely get why Gen and Senkuu feel that they’d go to hell for using this trick.
It’s a temporary measure to recruit people to their side, and win over as many people as possible to topple Tsukasa.

1 The people, who we’ve established are on board with murder, might end up murdering their own.

2 As soon as those people figure out that they’ve been lied to; they, not only, will restart a war against Senkuu, but will show even less mercy to enemy combatants.

so in summation it’s a reckless plan that can easily lead to a lot more deaths, if things don’t go to plan, and they don’t have enough scientific materials to supress the second war without casualties. and all they would’ve gained would be the capture of Tsukasa.

I personally thought Senkuu or Chrome were going to do something to fix the issues with that. but the resulting events in episode 27 are good too.

I fell off this show after the first 3 episodes basically because I found Senku’s personality pretty grating, so it’ll be interesting to see what I missed lol. Also, I love your shirt! Goood fashion 😎✨

Hi Jacob, I just wanted to say that I’m enjoying these reaction videos with pros and cons of past episodes.

I was also wondering if you would recommend the first season of Dr. Stone overall?

I remember you talking about the first 14 episodes during your summer 2019 tier videos and you didn’t seem to keen on the show back then, are you less harsh on it now like with Re: Zero season 1 or did it get way better in the second half?
