We figured out the last episode that the title is a mistranslation though. It’s "The Attack Titan"

The beast titan literally told eren "we’ve both been brainwashed by your father", and then they show you a kid who looks exactly like him called zeke who’s been brainwashed by grisha. It’s not even a spoiler anymore.

When it comes to AOT, we don’t even need to say it, it’s a Masterpiece. You really feel it, it’s a Goddamn Masterpiece while we’re watching it. That’s how good AOT is.

For the past century, Marley has been sending convicts and rebellious Eldians(the people who can turn into titans via an injection of titan spinal fluid) to Paradis Island(the island Eren & the rest live on). Marley is a separate nation uninhabited by Titans but keep a population of Eldians e.g Grisha, Reiner and Bertholdt, to inherit the power to transform into titans as pure blooded Marleyans are unable to(recall the officer who slaughtered Grisha’s sister)

Hopefully there aren’t any heavy spoilers here and it’s just a general overview for you to understand what exactly was transpiring in the last few episodes.

While it’s people fighting people, there’s still going to be massive titan shifter battles. So look forward to season 4. It will probably be a 2 part season as well.

As an anime only watcher myself, if you mean who Zeke is in relation to certain characters… then yes, it was explained in this season… like the 3rd or second to last episode.
As far as why he has the Beast Titan powers, I don’t think they specified… a lot happened tho, so maybe they did lmao. I’m planning a whole series rewatch soon to see if I pick up things better lmao.

The backpack titan calls the blonde guy War chief zeke in the episode when Bertoldt turns into a titan. In “That Day,” Grisha says how he and Dina had a child named Zeke. As a child, Zeke is literally seen playing with a beast toy. It really doesn’t get more clear than that idk how you’re the only person that doesn’t understand lol

It’s almost amusing how for the first 3 seasons, Titans were built up as this impending doom for humanity, which is on the brink of extinction. Only for us to find out that they were really created by other humans. It makes the threat of Titans seem so much smaller all of a sudden.

Before anyone else leaves a comment about the identity of the Beast Titan, I now understand the single statement I missed that I couldn’t tie together with later things. It was such a casual drop that I didn’t remember the name mentioned to tie it in. Still I’m in Eren’s perspective that I believe still hasn’t put it together just as I didn’t as the viewer getting that extra quick line I didn’t engrave in my memory.

This really seems like a dumb video. This season is widely accepted as one of the greatest in anime history, if not the greatest of any show. In essence this is like asking if you should drink water if you are thirsty.

  37. Mkey Boule

Seems like you misunderstood a little point! (Well probably many, but that one has been specifically told and you mentioned it).
Eren’s theory about his ability to control dumb titans is that he was able to control them because he touched A TITAN who was someone from royal blood. He told that in each of the last 2 episodes of the season and that’s why he doesn’t want to tell anyone. The thing is not that he fears that the military could attach Historia somewhere because if she agreed to cooperate there would be no need to; what he fears is that military would want to turn Historia into a titan somehow.

The name of the Show "Attack on Titan" is a reference to the name of Eren’s titan, the Attack Titan. It makes more sense because in Japanese the show and Eren’s titan have the same name Shingeki no Kyojin.

Villains??? I don’t see any Villains in SnK or even Anti-heroes, because are you really sure that Reiner or Zeke are evil or Anti-heroes?? By this time of the story is clear that it’s all grey, and judging by what has been revealed, it gives a lesson to not judge the characters or call them villains because there’s way more to it.

    Seriously, Villains what lol.

uhhhm… if you dont get who the beast titan is NOW you must be blind. His Name is Zeke Jäger and he is Erens Halfbrother. This is not a spoiler like seriously??. In Ep3 we get his name for the first time, 4-legged Titan Boi calls him "Warchief Zeke", then in Ep6 there is literally a shot where his face fades into Grishas Face (they look exactly the same bar the Hair, their facial structure is jsut a copy of each other) while he tells Eren "we are both victims of your father" (in the german version it was even just "father" as in to imply "our father"). And then in Ep8 in Grishas Flashback he says he had a son that he called Zeke and that little Boy has the same Hair and Eye colour as grown up Zeke. And later in the Episode we see young Zeke literally play with a puppet that looks like the Beast titan. Obvious much??^^ Also Zeke becomes a Warrior (meaning a SHIFTER TITAN that works for Marley) and betrays his parents. Its all very obvious and literally spoonfed to you in Episode 8. Liek what? how can anyone not get this??^^

I was stupid enough to wait til everyone began hyping this season, so I made a point to marathon it beginning last Sunday. Over the course of a week my wife has had to put up with me screaming such obscenities as "HE LICKED THE F&*(7#’ING FLOOR" and "GET HIM, CUT HIS F*%!*(ING HEAD OFF!" on top of me just screaming incoherently everytime some bad ass thing happened.

It’s clarified in the anime. In the third episode, the quadrupedal titan calls the Beast Titan "Warchief Zeke." Later you see Grisha’s blonde child and he says "His name was Zeke, a child with royal blood." If that’s not enough, Zeke tells Eren in the sixth episode "I know what you’re going through, we’re both victims of that man. You’ve been brainwashed by him." As he’s saying that, Zeke’s face flashes to Grisha’s for a moment, then we see Zeke as a child literally being brainwashed by Grisha in episode 8.

@ 7:25, yes the Marleyans take eldians that they wish to punish to the Island of Paradis or aka "Paradise". They turn them to titans as a way of punishment for the rest of their lives for doing something that they thought was punishable.

Let me clear this up since alot of anime reactors were confused. Eren just touching Historia does not allow him to use the Founding Titan’s power. Like he said himself in the episode, he has to be touching a royal *mindless titan* or a royal titan *shifter* . This means that he cant use the power by touching a normal royal human.
