Good storytelling. Erwin may be in the same situation if not for the former commander. As smart and talented as he is it probably would’ve worn him down at some point as well. Keith actions helped mentor the current Scout leadership as well as the 104th cadets. Also Eren probably wouldn’t be here if not for him. I appreciate how he recognized his own limits eventhough he mindset was not the best. He saw it was Erwin’s time.

Also, yes, the manga is still ongoing. For now, there is no confirmation of its ending. Plus, there is also no confirmation on whether there is a break or not. It would likely just continue on.

As far as whether or not it will end. I say yes and i wont divulge info from the manga but it gearing up for a climax we might get 2 full season that that might be it.

It could be a lie whether or not he remembers or doesn’t he does reveal he knows some things but why? Even Keith said whether or not it was a truth or a lie. He might have been withholding information.

Jane’s right again. Grisha was lying about losing his memories because he’s from outside the walls, so he could only say that he lost his memories because he has no records, home, family or friends inside the walls.

I feel for Keith, he didn’t have the balls to confess his feelings to Karla, or even worse, maybe she just rejected him. He couldn’t save Karla so he at least wanted to save her son by sabotaging him.

The manga is still ongoing and the author already have the ending in mind, he has everything planned already, the manga is predicted to end by 2020 or 2021.
The part about season 3 taking a break and starting back in January is still a rumour at this moment, but it could very well be true.

In the manga it is stated clearly that Keith did not want the last thing that Carla left behind to be killed like that. And his fear was justified, if eren wasn’t a Titan he would have died 10 seconds into his first battle. When he started being a dick to Carla i felt for him man. The cracking in his voice right in the end… i felt like him before, he wasnt trying to be a dick. That is the sound of a deeply wounded man.
In the manga Keith has way more existential problems than what they’ve gave us in the anime. I am not trying to compare them by the way, nor trying to say that the anime isn’t good. They do a fantastic job at adapting it. Just saying. I wish they could fit all of it into the anime. Even the "boring" long conversation parts.

Just to clear some confusion up rod Reiss said grisha killed freida and the rest of his family 5 years ago when he was talking to historia when eren was in chains . So when he was outside the wall it wasn’t because he attacked and killed the Reiss family because the timeline wouldn’t work

Carla’s speech is everything in this episode. It helps Eren re-discover his confidence in a new way, he accepted that it is okay not to be special which made him more humble but at the same time, he really becomes special just like what his father expected him to be. Such an amazing character development
PS: I love Jane’s expression too during that speech, it’s like she can relate to her now that she is a mother, just the fact that they are born in this world already make them special, a gift to this world especially for their parents <3
