I don’t understand why people think every character is expendable in AOT. I find it to be very obvious who will and won’t die. I’ve yet to be surprised by a death and even get annoyed sometimes at how obviously expendable some characters are and how others seem so untouchable.
SPOILER:
When Levis squad gets killed I was like,….. yup saw that one coming and that was stupid, then when the second best warrior (forget his name) is killed I was even more disappointed, it’d be nice if they could build a character up a little before they die instead of saying this guy is a bad ass…..and now hes dead.

The pronunciations:
Eren= Air•ren
Mikasa= Me•ka•sa
Armin= Arm•in
I am pretty sure it takes place 2,000 years in the future. It has a medieval feel because, I’m assuming, they have the walls which can only fit a few million people so they had to revert to old ways. I think that is also how they have the 3DMG. Also, it makes sense because Annie wore a hoodie. It is a mix of modern and old which I think is perfect.
PS: LEVI IS BETTER THAN MIKASA IN EVERY PHYSICAL WAY.

Why weren’t any of the characters having *sex*….?
These teenagers eat potatoes every day, face naked giants who eat humans, and the normal civilians hate them for "wasting" their taxes. Oh and the Church worships the walls.
So…no Food, no Gold, no Glory. Why not just have sex? Like, do they _want_ to die virgins?

I wouldn’t say every character got development from the first season. I didn’t remember half of their names until I watched AoT Junior High (great parody in my opinion)

Never thought I would watch an Anime in Japanese till I watched this on Netflix. Nor did I think I would find a show that would see so "brand new" that would kick Rurouni Kenshin out of my top 5 favorite series (after loving it for over like 17 years) and having probably a better soundtrack than Naruto Shippuden.

Has anyone ever heard of the rule known as write the death for the character, not the character for the death; so in other words, don’t create characters just for the sake of dying, but respect the characters and know when their story needs to end. That rule applies directly to this show. 95% of the characters on the show are there just for the purpose of dying to raising the stakes or as an attempt to make you feel sad. I have a huge problem with this since every character on the show, especially Eren, is inconsistent as hell and under developed. So it’s kinda hard to get close to them and actually feel bad when they die. And since the main character is the most incosistent character on the show (and obviously the show revolves around him since he’s the main character), the story is very loose too. It’s all over the place with way too many threads to keep up with. It almost feels like the creator of the show (forgive me for forgetting his name) didnt have a planned narrative, as if he was kinda just coming up with a bunch of different plots to stuff into the narrative as he made the show. Thus, the show’s story never really feels like it has a set destination past the point where you learn that Eren is a shifter. This imo is the most overrated piece of entertainment I’ve ever seen. It’s really a subpar show when you think about it. But some things that I definitely give the show kudos for are the action, soundtrack, and Jean, who is imo the only character on the show whose development doesn’t feel forced. Overall score from me would be a 6/10. I don’t hate the show, I just think that it could be better, and I do firmly believe that the writers and the creator of the show will realize what did and didn’t work in season 1 so they can improve in season 2…. hopefully.

My Least Favorite Part Of This Anime Was The Female Titan Annie Stuff. Just Wasn’t That Interested. However overall its a good season. I enjoyed it. I like mikasa and John so far the most. Good Review ?.
