From the chapter 924 we can tell luffy became kaidou’s slave as kid is at the moment.. i think luffy will be tortured as hell.. and that is gonna trigger a cold heart that only a pirate king has in a way.. its hard to explain my point.

Luffy almost being killed by Crocodile in Arabasta. Luffy has a lot of weakness when he face Enel in Skypeia. Luffy was completely lose against Rob Lucci in Water 7. Luffy’s shadow has been taken by Moria in Thriller Bark. Luffy even takes a long time to defeat Doflamingo’s string clone in Dressrosa. Luffy need a lots of time to regains his haki while dealing with Katakuri in Whole Cake Island. Luffy is completely weak at the first time he met with those rival, and guess what?? He has defeated all of them back then because all those rivals are WEAK and Luffy is STRONG. Now, Luffy has fainted after being hit by Kaido in Wano. Guess what?? Of course he will defeat Kaido since Kaido is one of those rivals that can be called WEAK. It is simple dude. Oda has playing the same game, and you still cannot catch that. KAIDO IS WEAK compared to Luffy.

Why would everyone think kaido is weak? He’s one of the four emperor’s, he’s called the King of Beasts, he’s recognized as the strongest creature alive, the Navy has captured him multiple times and he’s escaped as many times, he’s survived several different executions, he survived a ten thousand meter drop from a sky island without a single scratch on him, he beat down three of the worst generation, the most dangerous of which was Eustace Kid. You don’t get to be an Emperor without a damn good reason people! Whitebeard was one and look what he did!

What makes me angry is that , although Luffy has been able to hit Kaido and even make him fall to the ground, and then got beaten, Big Mom didn’t do shit, she just "repelled" luffy’s attack and she knocked him out. This is impossible. Kaido is stronger than her, plus even Chopper and Jimbei have been able to withstand her. It just doesnt make sense.

Any time we see Gear 4 its actually stronger then before, just to mention it. And it seems Luffy can use it longer too. Practice makes it perfect, and OP universe isnt exeption. So in my opinion that makes Kaido even more of a beast. I think that if I am right Gear 4 is stronger now then vs Doffy and vs Katakuri. So one shoting Luffy like that is savage power. What I like about Kaido is a fact that he can crush Blackbeard easy. He is OP even when not using his DF. Like he use it to travel it seems. You dont need a dragon form when you are already insanly strong like Kaido is. I would like to see BB vs Kaido in future just to see if I am right.

Dont underestimate luffys ability to come back and formulate a strategy. This was kaidos perfect battle opportunity despite his drunkness. Facing off against someone else in brute strength. I dont think this battle will be one from brute strength alone from luffy

What I’m guessing will happen is big mom saves the straw hats because of choppers kindness, and they escape. and after that. Zoro finds out not only was luffy 1 hit by kaido but the whole thing with sanji and allowing sanji back on the ship. So zoro will challenge luffy, and either luffy hesitates or zoro outright destroys him. This will cause luffy to realize how weak he is and at the suggestion on an ally, luffy leaves a crew mate maybe zoro in charge and goes back into training. Thus another time skip maybe 6 months to 1 year. Luffy comes back with the strength of a yonko. That would be quite interesting

I don’t think people are realizing that the whole narrative is building up this theme that Luffy is essentially nothing without his crew and that him charging Kaido like a moron just further cements that he really does need them. Like I like to think to some extent, through building up a family throughout these chapters and constantly reminding the reader that Luffy would never have gotten this far without his crew is a really important aspect. Of course Luffy wouldn’t be able to do anything to Kaido on his own. Just like he couldn’t do anything to Gecko Moria on his own. It’s the same concept. Just on a much larger scale.
