After playing 18 hours of the game, here’s my review in progress for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet. Almost done with Story Mode, still need to try the multiplayer, but these are my thoughts and feelings on the game so far.

Like a REBOOT of Lost Song
Gun Gale never really interested me in the show and the same goes for the game.

Not got it yet but I’m really hoping they have a tournament survival pvp like the actual anime a tournament/battle royal mode all though I don’t like any of the battleroyal games I think the game mode would work well in this since that’s basically what the whole anime was

I like your vid but when you say you think its unfair how certain systems transfer from previous games and it seems a little unfair that makes me laugh because it makes me think of the SAO I show when everyone turned on beta testers for having an edge lol. The premise of the show was Kirito was a solo player because he was considered special aka a beater (beta tester + cheater) I dont think thats unfair maybe it would be in other games but in this game I actually think thats a pretty cool concept that they added to the new game. that being said ive never played any of the games but just that that was funny not hating on you man good video seems like theres a lot here but the 3 hour start up is always a drag in games hopefully its worth it though the GGO season wasn’t my favorite wish they could make a revamped SAO original with all this updated better quality systems included the earlier games seem too… lack luster to start off with in 2018 to say the least but what can you do im sure if this entire game came out SAO I-III (arcs) five to 10 years from now it would blow people away but then again that can be said about anything really

To be honest I am a bit let down, its just a cute fun shooter with JRPG elements…

You can customize skills in the lobby there is a kiosk next to PvE and PvP NPC’s. That’s at least one less loading screen to go threw.

You forgot to mention the "Black Market" Weapons dealer who hangs around the Church looking building, he wears all green.
17 hours in and I had already found a couple game breaking exploits that tunes down the fun of the game. PvE is a joke, if you join with 3 other people lvl 60+ you can take down a lvl 90 boss in less than 3 mins.

The online portion of this game is really bad. Which is disappointing, especially PVP. You think your going to fight other players but insteas your thrown into a 4 v 4 arena where levelling isnt balanced. That aside. Thee most biggest problem is they throw in this lvl99 unbeatable monster to serve as objective to do the most dmg to it vs just having a simple team death match.
So most of the time youre going to be getting one shotted by this AI monster or trying to avoid him just to get to the opposite team. I dont know who idea on the development team but they need to be reassigned or fired. You tool a good concept and just ruined it by added that stupid monster. Take it out, in the show Kirito didnt have a monster in the middle of the arena when fighting the gun dude.
And the coop…its would be great if they allowed you to do full missions with your team. Instead you only do boss battles that youve already beaten to farm materials for who knows what…maybe better gear. However its pointless because once the campaign is done who wants to farm for better gear when there is no real online experience?
Outside of the multiplayer the game is good but boy did the multiplayer just frustrate me, especially pvp…please get rid of that invincible monster. I came to PVP to fight human players not worry about a one shot monster

I love the game a lot, but the thing mentioned about quest npc scattered around is what bothered me, not a deal breaker at all, but i would have preferred a single quest giver.

Im about 20 hours in now and I love this game but I have one problem that I see consistently in these types of games. I know this would be a pain in the ass for companies and expensive (VA’s make good money per hour) but I wish that the protagonist would do more than just grunt and scream and actually interact with them and answer the questions, like I gave you a voice, use it. Again to record every scenario wouldn’t be cheap but they already do it so much it wouldn’t be that difficult.
Hell get some people off the streets to do it for cheap, I would take that gig, my Japanese might be more broken than a single ply pane of glass being dropped from 10000 feet but I would do it (also it would probably make for some funny scenes and would also be a reversal of the normal which is Japanese speaking broken English).
Other than that this game is honestly pretty solid, I give it 8.6/10

Bought the pre-order, downloaded the game and just waited for the day so I can play it, Gotta say tho… Not worth the $59.99 and if you got the deluxe version am so sorry for you… This game is best described as lazy… I hate that jrpg don’t get the attention they deserved except for the big tittles and even them sometimes get badly produced. Its 2018 people… The cost of games its already higher then ever time to step it up Namco… No more stale frames "cutscenes" that is just the laziest and easiest that you can do, barely animated except for a handful of them which its stupid becauseuz it shows that it could have been done but hey "why bother?". Clunky control, at times unresponsive (My hands react faster than the game allows me too) terrain problems (alot of them) the choice arent really important at the end, braind dead A.I to the point that the only reason the are of any challenge its beacuase there are tons of them toggether or a single boss with stupidly high healt, defense and attack… True MMORPG style which its NOT a complement you get the same A.I from FREE online MMORPG, hell even Warframe has better A.I! and last is the fact that there is no English dub at all which is also a bummer… And you could say all of that would be expensive and whatnot sure but hey you could get a much bigger audience and flow of gamers if you ACTUALLY care and go above and beyond… I mean at the end of the day if they put there heart, soul and blood (just to be dramatic) into the jrpg genre I believe that they could make 2x or 3x the money… But as long as its half-assed I sincerely believe that the downpours of jrpg will continue except for the "big tittles" this could have been awesome, they could have learned from there oldest entry… But now is just updated mistakes over and over. The game can be fun sure but it does not feel like its worth $59.99 let alone more than that. I know bandai don’t care much of the opinions of a single viewer/consumer but I do hope that someone if not bandai then any other develepor brings justice to the jrpg games that are from beloved manga/anime series that we dream to be a tripple A worth of a game. I talked to much but its just because am deeply disappointed ??

It looks like a fun turn-your-brain-off and enjoy type of game. Much MUCH better looking than the other crappy SaO games they had on PS3.
I was going to purchase it but GameStop had no used ones. I’m guessing it’s an extremely short game. Easily beatable in seven days, thus you get that beautiful refund from GameStop if you bought it used.
