I knew the second he popped out of the water it wasn’t kokuri because I’ve noticed the writers try to subvert expectations far more often than in the original series. Still liked the arc and that shadow sword looked a1.

But yeah! This episode took a part of the Manga, and just surprised us out of no where and said! Ha! You guys thought we weren’t following the Manga at this point, right? Wrong! And just twisted it around! That was a smart move! Can’t wait to see how they handle episode 148! 🙂
