I like your theory about if he dies he can’t see past then in his foresight but the quirk allows him to see others through their perspective almost like he’s that person, and the world carries on after your dead, so it may not effect the ability if he were to die before the event. However I don’t really know you’re probably right you can’t see or use your quirk when you’re not alive…

The messed up thing with this seer quirk is that he sees THE future not A future. So their is two possibility:
    1- The future is set.
2- He doesn’t just SEES the future he SETS it in stone.

Both of these are scary as fuck. The first is depressing. The second one puts so much burden on using his powers. Imagine if it is a ”future setter”, he thinks he killed All Might. He killed his Hero by looking at him. Dark.

I was thinking on the whole madness thing that Izuku and All Might share, and the thing is that Izuku is working on this problem and we have seen him start working on that through the series, though he has only really spoken about it with Togata and All Might. He knows that by going all out and harming himself he is scaring the people who care about him and he even stated that the type of hero he wants to be is one that doesn’t cause other people to worry. In fact, that Izuku didn’t rush to try and save Eri regardless of what he was told could be a testament to him trying to restrain himself, because I do think that Izuku would have done that not so long ago. He is going to slip up every so often, but I do think that his ‘madness’ is being tempered by other influences and he is recognising that he shouldn’t be as hasty to throw his life and health away just because that is what All Might did. So while he does to some extent still have that madness, the fact that he is already making progress on that should be recognised more.

All for one said it himself. All might was still fighting all for one even with his very entrails hanging from his body. It is very similar to how deku fights even with his arms and legs destroyed. He nearly destroyed the ligaments in his arms, crippling himself forever, in order to save a single kid, not thinking of the consequences of the future. I mean, he is the one who should care the most about his body, considering all might basically made him the messiah.

I think Horikoshi is portraying today’s society, how most of the people think common sense is being selfish, and caring for another person to the point of risking your life to save another for a lot of people is "dumb". Few chapters ago a lot of people questioned Deku’s action for trying to save Eri instead of leaving her to not ruin the investigation.

I have the same problem that those 2 have. I have drop down into depression in order to help people with their traumas even that I’m not a psychologist and never wanted to be because it is a pretty damaging work in my point of view, but I can’t withstand someone crying or suffering. And when I’m not doing it hurts, it physically affects me and ended up affecting my life and conducting into suicide.

Yeah, I tried to kill myself when I face the impotence and how everytime I did something for one, other 4 people more were suffering, going beyond my capacity and forcing me to *not help* others, wich makes me think of me as an egoist monster. And even after surviving that part of my life… I can’t stop running to help others when I see them. I just can’t.

And don’t get me wrong, I’m not someone who works or want to work in an ONG or something like that. I when I see them. I know that this is a type of madness and a one that I don’t want to lose, even if it kills me in the end.

So basically, Izuku and All Might are like Shirou Emiya from Fate/Stay Night, except there both actually relatable as characters? Because that’s what I got from this overall.

Now this has nothing to do with the video (Great video though and I loved this chapter cant wait to see deku take on that mafia group). But i recently read this manga called "Helck" And I think it’s way less popular than it should be here’s the summary.

" Soon after the last Demon King was defeated, the Demon Empire starts a tournament to choose the next Demon King. But the favorite contestant to win is non other than a human, the hero Helck, whose motive to become the Demon King is to defeat his own race. Is there any truth behind what Helck claims? It’s up to one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Empire, Red Vamirio, to discover and unfold Helck’s true intentions. "

It’s really good and I hope more people go and read it.

"We walk by faith. Not by sight"

I think this Bible saying applies to All Might and Izuku best. They don’t go forward afraid of what’s to come, but who will hurt if they fail to move forward.

Cannot wait for the arc to get heated, looks like this will be deeper on a more character development level. It’s already pretty dark.

Izuku’s and All Might’s selflessness is not wrong but it’s also more about balance, they’re great heroes but they shouldn’t kill or maim themselves doing it.

Perhaps that’s what Deku needs to learn, moderation

Thanks for the reviews Chibi, I always enjoy viewing people who love anime and Manga as much as I do

Deku and All Might might share the same ‘madness’ or over passionate drive to save people, but I think they’re pretty different people overall. Deku is incredibly considerate and calculating, I think his growth driven by his perfect rivals in Bakugou and Todoroki will set him far apart from All Might who is just as passionate but seems straightforward and bold in his ways.

I’m starting think what’s the point in this anime and there’s no point in watching it if this show is just about the main character using the power and ending up broken every time sounds a bit pointless to me that not a power it’s self harming but I’m not saying it’s all bad I betting there’s some awesome fights and all but if the main character is just getting broken constantly how’s he going to be the number one hero when the end result is going to be him deformed because he’s fucked himself so hard that he can’t use it properly even tho he can’t anyway but this is just and opinion I have because I haven’t really watched it or read it so I’m open to hearing your opinions

Self sacrifice is trait of a person’s character is one to admire but also one to cuase concern. Examples that come to my mind are All Might or Steven and Pearl from Steven Universe.

Righteousness is madness. They are pushing aside self-interest and embracing altruism. I don’t think people really understand how inhuman altruism is. How insane it is. Those who truly embrace it are outside the norms for any culture. They won’t really understand those norms. They are insane. And what are All-night and Deku doing? Going all in for altruism. Doing their best to completely shelf what is right for themselves in favor of what is right for everyone else. It is a truly terrifying thing.

I don’t think Izuku thinks of himself very highly. I feel like he views himself as somewhat of a tool to keep others safe, even if it means he is in danger. I think he does this subconsciously though.

its not messed up, its admirable. thoose that value others lifes over there own have kindness. the only negative side is that its sad
seeing that shows a hidden side of self loathing and worrysome. and that questions of they are doing it out of suicide or jsut greater need-then-them

or he experiences the deaths as he’s in the person’s perspective… that’s also messed up. Or seeing himself kill his opponent and experiencing it from his opponent’s perspective… shit.
