I began reading the light Novels a few months ago, and man do I recommend them. I understood the resister opening, and all the hidden meanings behind it.
Next episode is going to be crazy, the cliffhanger drove me mad when I first read it lol.

Time to Resist! I was sad when both Cardinal and Eugeo died. Eugeo became one of my favorite characters in the SAO series and to see him go was heartbreaking, I actually cried when they both died. I’m looking forward to the final episode of the first half of Alicization and to the fight I was looking most forward to. In the next episode, it’s Time to Unite! Stay Cool Everybody!

Hey Gamerturk I’ve got two questions, wouldn’t Cardinals death be for nothing? She isn’t able to kill the Sword Golem but theoretically wouldn’t she be able to pin it down or paralyze it to enable Kirito to kill it instead? Also how was Eugeo (human) able to kill the sword golem in sword form, since technically they are both humans shouldn’t it be prohibited? Would killing a human also trigger the seal of the right eye or is that a different concept. Time to Resist :)))

Cardinal has Quinella’s memory and mind as well but totally overtaken and controlled by cardinal sub-process but why in Administrator case Quinella’s memory and mind is not totally overtaken by Cardinal main-process?

Of course, when I leave town for a week due to family business and don’t have a stable internet connection, EVERYTHING kicks off. I had to watch this episode and the next back to back, so I saw this episode a week late. 🙁
Nonetheless, this episode was amazing. If I hadn’t made it obvious since Alicization started, Eugeo quickly became my favourite character, so I’m absolutely bawling right now. I’m going to miss him. Sorry, I don’t have a lot to add, you summed up everything nicely, but I’m just too sad right now.

It’s so sad that they killed off my favorite character so far, Cardinal. My question is that couldn’t they resist for longer while ma boi Eugeo was T-posing and transforms into a sword? I guess Cardinal’s death made him realize his mission but it doesnt make sense at all. Alice got one shotted but Cardinal could have resist Quinella much longer (if she didnt sacrifice herself in the start ofc). She said that she can’t kill those 300 people but still in the end she is the one that killed them by transforming Eugeo into a sword.
Also a second question why those 300 people didn’t transform back into human units like Eugeo did when broken?
Also probably that wont happen but what if Cardinal succeded and saved 10 souls as she promised to Kirito? How would Kirito even bring them to real world? As robots or something? Or installing them to a game like he did to Yui or something?
