I cant wait to see the next chapter, where Horikoshi bring us the match of the century: "MINORU MINETA vs MONOMA NEITO". I’m sure it will be the best combat of the entire arc, better that Bakugou…

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting Bakugo’s team to have a clean sweep. I was thinking the other three would be taken out and Bakugo would have to fight the Class B squad all by himself, beating 3 but getting knocked out by the leader. To have him not only save Jiro but be a capable leader and have his team totally dominate Class B was shocking. I was just as stunned as the Class B spectators.

Love the art hate the arc lol. The only fight that held my interest is this one. I quit the manga during chapter 211. I have no interest in the fight with deku and I hate what they’re doing with one for all. All might said that all he had was a flashback and now deku is talking with the previous users… I don’t like that. I hate the black lightning thing. I hate it. One for all is a stockpiling ability it’s not meant to replace kaminari. I’ll get caught up but only because there’s a villain arc after this one (it’s a given at this point). It looks like it’ll be a prison breakout. I wanna see stain, muscular, all for one and the other captured villains like kurogiri escape with shigaraki. And a bonus would be that we could see shigaraki troll overhaul by not releasing him

Too much praise for the chapter. Bakugo’s character "development" isn’t anything new, Setsuna was shafted hard for a recommended student, and Bakugo’s becoming Horikoshi’s pet.

Let just accept that Bakugo always has a special place in sensei heart , and i admit i hate about it . He is a character who symbol of "win" . I kind of feel boring of how Bakugo appear in chapter , even bakugo some time hit wall , sensei always give Bakugo a way out too easy , for me is bias and destroy sensei art work of "balancing" each character in manga.

What some people are misunderstanding is that Bakugou is the deuteragonist of the series, he went through many chapters without getting enough spotlight or especially character development. For this chapter to have a much larger focus on him makes sense.

Honestly, this is the worst chapter in the arc imo. It did nothing for me except confirm that Bakugo is Horikoshi’s pet Gary-Stu. The character shilling is beyond annoying. This chapter felt like a self-insert Bakugo fanfiction. Setsuna and her team being shat on like that was fucking lame. I hope Deku’s match is actually properly written because I’m getting really bored of this series now. I just don’t give a shit about Class B or Shinsou.

What i would like to see is monoma copy OFA, but something very spooky happens. you know how in season 2 when all might tell deku a bit about OFA he calls it a crystallization of power, and for example if todoroki got OFA he become almost unbeatable, because his quirk be improved by such a wide margin, any way i had a thought if monoma copied it how would his quirk be buffed? his quirk allows him to copy other quirk by touching people at a max time limit of 3 minutes but if he copy’s OFA the time limit would be raised, mabye even made permanent, now it would be interesting that effect oh improving his quirk is permanent, it would be very interesting for the story. the jist is he is AFO but he doesn’t take away other peoples quirks

For all the hype for this Bakugo fight, this was a pretty lame battle. Hardly anything mind blowing happened. Definitely the worse battle of the set, since Izuku’s is certain to have ompf. It felt like the writers just wanted to get this battle over with to quickly get to the final battle and almost all thr characters involved suffered as a result.
Outside of Setsuna, B class hardly got any shine and the A class kids fared even worse, with zero development happening for Sato, who sadly still remains the most underutilized member of ClassA. I felt like I got more from the members of class B in the first 3 battles than I’ve had from Sato the whole series and that’s crazy.
Bakugo isn’t even close to being a favorite of mine but I really wanted him and his team to wow me with something and they didn’t and as a result, this fight felt very contrived and mediocre. At least Setsuna gave me a great reveal of her Quirk.

I just gotta say Bakugo is gonna die in a future chapter. There is no way he could be second to Deku that would be very odd considering how talented Bakugo is, it would make him hate Deku more if Deku surpassed him. My theory is that Bakugo will get killed by all for one or have his quirk stolen rendering him powerless. that would be a very intense story arc.

Bokugo is by far my favorite character. His quirk is so cool and his ambition is unmatched. He has all that it takes to become number one. That being said…. I think the best way to move the story, and I say this with a heavy-heart, is to have a death of Bakugo arch. That would be the final push that Deku would need. At first it will put him in a darker path, possibly leading him to kill Stain or All for One, but ultimately leading to him becoming the number one hero.

The recommended students outside of Todoroki are complete and utter garbage. What a waste of hype the chapter before just to make her team Bakugou’s bottom bitches.
Unpopular view, but this chapter was such a waste. Bakugou needed this the least and it makes him look less good and makes his "opponents" look so much worse.

Bakugo hasn’t really changed. He has already shown leadership and intelligent thinking as shown during the cavalry battle when he coordinated a flawless unit with Kirishima, Sero, and Ashido that allowed him to use his max power with little consequences (sero and Ashido for mobility), Kirishima to handle his blasts, and Sero to catch Bakugo after he goes airborne. He made a plan for somebody to CATCH him.
And he sacrificed himself for Deku during Finals do that they could pass.
He put faith in Kaminari to save him and Kirishima from meat dude.
Bakugo has BEEN this way the whole time except now he uses the word "save" and is a little more humble

Bakugo was impressive, I really hope Deku can top this because that fight had to have lasted no longer than 10 – 15mins. Although I don’t think he saved Jirou because he knows his team is essential Bakugou is putting his ego aside not for the better, but to show he’s better by all around being a Hero and showing all traits of a true hero, this was amazing development for his character and I know he’s putting fear into a lot of class B and the speech was amazing that shows his leader qualities amazing chapter.

The over hype on bagkugo development never got me like, by all means he’s definitely made leaps and bounds charecter wise and this chapter perfectly executed showcasing that.. I never thought I’d see the day he’d actually say something under the lines of I’ll protect you guys any you all will protect me when I need it… That line speaks volumes!! I must say though that same jackass/cocky attitude that he’s still retained throughout his introduction is kinda counterintuitive to his character development as a main component towards that attitude of his was his infirorty complex and when he and deku git to to fight it out that lessened that complex serverly so idk why he still acts that way.. ether way I can admit his development has gotten quite well and shows specifically how sharp baukgo is with him being able to deduct the in and outs of sezunas quirk ablity to catch her off gaurd like he did I still can’t see him as likeable at all till that personality humbles down a bit.. nonetheless this was development done right! Momo needs to take notes going forward!
