We always knew Bakugo was a crazy tsun of a gun, but this is a whole new level!! The Determinator in it’s purest, angriest form! Fighting (what’s basically) a god? JUST GRIT THOSE TEETH!!! Why? Because that’s what it means to be a hero.

I guess one thing Deku has over Bakugou in terms of fighting skills is pain tolerance, its hard to say how much exactly his arms were hurting from making does big explosions, but they certainly weren’t broken (or re-broken like Deku’s fingers in 2×10) yet it seemed to affect him a lot.

I really like your Reaction videos guys but this episode I think you cut out many important Scenes to which reacting and discussing really would’ve fit. I started watching the video, waiting for your reaction to certain situations, and you cut them :/

I do not like bakugo, but I feel bad for him. Den I who was always behind him in terms of everything, all of a sudden was in running ahead of him. If this happened to me, I would feel angry and confused as to why.
I hate bakugo, but it’s his attitude that I hate. I actually respect his ideas, thoughts, and the way he fights is cool. He’s just an ass

Slight correction:
ATP (or adenosine triphosphate) being "burned" in the body isn’t exactly how you described it, you’re not having small scale explosions happen in your cells when they move but it’s more like, if you lit a cup of ethanol on fire it combines with oxygen very rapidly and releases a huge amount of energy relatively quickly. Your body burning energy is like taking a milliliter of ethanol and slowly combining it with oxygen over the course of several hours. Long story short, if you light a sandwich on fire, it burns up in a short time and releases it’s energy in a flame that burns at 1000s of degrees. Your body takes that same sandwich, and burns it really really really really slowly, and as that energy is released your cells harness it and convert it into ATP which is what actually gets used in every process your cells do.

Bakugo’s voice actor said on a radio show that the direction in this episode was that Bakugo was feeling cornered but he would not let himself lose to that feeling. So the only emotion he could use to counter it was anger and a lot of it. (Deku’s voice actor comments on this by saying "that’s what he counters most anything isn’t it, that Kacchan." lol)

Bakugo want to be a hero because he saw hero kick bad guy’s ass and it’s cool in his eyes. But Deku want to be a hero to help people with smile. Which way you gonna teach your child to be ? May be both, but first of hero spirit is Deku’s way. I understand Bakugo’s ideal in here but personally, I prefer All might and Deku’s ideal more than Bakugo.

The fact that All Might is a rookie teacher was established early in the series and you’d see that again in season 3, if they go into that specific "lesson" after that specific "fight"… Aizawa will point that out and that is HILARIOUS XD

so my guess for 41:53 the teachers normally had 1 band on each their arms, and that 4 of them (one for each limb) equaled half their body weight. All might wore 2 bands on each limb, so my guess is he was wearing his whole body weight, and it further proves how strong he must be to still be able to move so fast when effectively carrying double himself. That plus All Might probably also being the heaviest person really makes it super impressive.

So not sure if your going to bring it up again as I only just got through the episode part, but I’ve been thinking about it a lot. Many worlds in fantasy have humans but they aren’t the same humans as us so they can’t be treated as such. Basically my point comes down to All Might kneeing Bakugo in the head, something that without super powers on either side, could almost kill him on its own just by the assumed force of it being intentional, not to mention the landing. So my point is, at the very least, those with quirks have stronger bodies to survive things as just a general power. I would go so far as to say that probably all humans, even without powers, can as the world has changed, just not complete for everyone to have quirks. Anyway all I mean is to keep in mind that these aren’t just humans with powers, they seem more. That all being said, this match up is still unfair cause all might should have killed them.

imo the set backs of bakugo’s quirk goes beyond just the muscle fibers, in episode 10 he said he asked to have those gauntlets made so he could use his quirk with less risk. i think the gauntlets purpose is to store the nitroglycerin little by little so then he can fire the big shot. without the grenades, he forces his sweat glans to produce more nitro immediately exhausting them and making him have cramps and such, just like a real exercise would. Like the ATP u talked about, in the body after the reserve of ATP is over the body uses other processes like the lactic acid cycle, and the accumulation of lactic acid causes the feeling of burning and pain to the muscles.

Also about Bakugou is that he gives respect to those who have earned it. Like respects Tokoyami, and Ochako because they give their all. He hates people who don’t put their all. If you aren’t going to completely try at being the best why even bother being at this school you know. I just can’t help but feeling like all this development he’s gotten and will keep getting will all be setting him to die near the end. Because Deku does say it’s the story of how he became number one.

the best way for all might to teach bakugou in this fight would have been casual disregard. rather than being the showman or the teacher, trying to be the impossible wall, he should have just undercut bakugou at every turn with casual ease and forced him to act in a way he wouldn’t normally.
the problem with the way all might did it is that by being the impossible wall, bakugou will have one of two responses, he’ll break like spun glass as he shatters against the wall and cannot overcome it, or he’ll dig in his heels and fight until it kills him, and the only difference between those two is whether his body or his will gives out first. bakugou doesn’t learn anything from that, he isn’t in a situation where he feels pressure to change or grow, it’s essentially an extinction event for bakugou’s soul, there’s no hope for evolution if you’re wiped out via meteor strike.
so, what all might should have done is not revealed the limits he was willing to reach to break bakugou. he should have stayed one step ahead of him and smashed any plan that relied on bakugou being the dominant party or bakugou charging and blasting him before it had time to gather steam. by forcing bakugou to either rely on or listen to deku, you can get him to bend his knee a little, and when that works, it shows bakugou that deku doesn’t have to be this object of contempt, he can at the very least be used to further bakugou’s plans.

I know it’s only a coincidence but I love that the Katsuki Bakugou Origin reaction episode came out after Bakugou won the latest popularity poll. 2 wins in a row (He dominated it and Deku & Todoroki votes were so close with a 1 vote difference) Great reactions guys <3

I actually love how they contrast Bakugo and Midoriyas tactics in this episode. His immediate jumping at All Might seems super irrational and absurd, until you realise his plan is just as correct (and wrong) as Izuku’s. All Might is borderline inescapable (when he isn’t letting his guard down), and All Might is also borderline unfightable. It just really emphasises how they’re both right, but also both wrong and have a lot to learn from each other.

Look at that, Kacchan fought those bullies, and won. All beaten to hell, and Izuku was hiding behind a tree just watching it all go down. Izuku never saw him as a friend, just someone he admired. So yeah, Izuku is a little creepy, and stalkerish.
