This episode was very interesting. When I have time, I review it from episode 1 again.
As you might already know the pronunciation of 7 in Japanese is "Nana".
    Episode 7(Nana)

i dont know what’s the comment in America anime community about this ep. However, in China, this ep just blow everyone away and there are so many thoughts about Hikari and Banna and the ending now (one of the convincing thoughts right now is that Hikari is already dead and need Karen Aijo to become top-star to bring her back >.< wtf). And yeah, same reaction but if you watch back from ep1 to ep6, there are so many hints implying that this is a loop, but you won’t think seriously at that time.
Also, Banna said this at around 3:09 in your video, " Ah, it repeats itself again, the cycle of despair… That which lies below the starlight." this also implies the loop Banna creates.
In terms of the manga, i believe there is a manga based on this anime, but I just do not know if they have an English sub. Also, this anime is not based on the manga but based on a stage show.
One last thing is a little bit info about the fight of Banna vs Maya Tendo. The theme of that Revue is loneliness based on the stage show and she is the only girl that is obsessed with the 99th Star Light show while everyone else wants to get better next year.

IMO Nana wants the school’s starlight just like the first one with the same cast, same story because she thinks thats the best stage(shiniest) ever and she just want stay like that, thats why when she won the "Starlight" she always create a time loop until Hikari show up at the last loop. So, in the other words there’re some time loops before ep 1
