One of the best feelings in anime is when there’s a new OP and it’s good… and conversely, one of the worst feelings is when there’s a new OP and you don’t care for it as much. It is generally accepted that the quality of OPs goes, uh, down as the series progresses.

For those who didn’t know, it is safe for first cousins to marry and have kids and while not common it is not at all uncommon, especially in history. It is not incest. However, in the modern U.S., their is a current stigma against marrying that close, and it is illegal in some states.

So to everyone that gets pissy that asuna ended up going from badass to "damsel in distress" I want everyone to keep in mind that she did try to escape on her own. Ah, and so we arrived at Fairy Dance. It might be the weakest story arc of SAO, but it still has some great moments, plus Suguha is a great character in her own right. As we find out, she indeed can’t really control her feelings here and is torn because of how much she hates herself for feeling that way to begin with. It’s pretty tragic, but things will work out for the best in the end!
