I was thinking that the shadowy figures where maybe 2 users of one for all that might still be alive

I think people are forgetting the quirk singularity, like those kindergardeners already had some crazy quirks.

In 40+ years you can have the grandchild of Todoroki, Momo, Hagurake and Ojiro who has all 4 quirks or a weird combination of the 4.

My issue with these new quirks is that, up until this point, the story has been focused on how relying on a single person to carry hero society isn’t a good thing. That we don’t need a single powerful figure at the helm, but people need to team up and work together if we’re going to create a sustainable society that will last beyond a single hero’s lifetime.

Deku getting massively overpowered kind of breaks down that entire system. I mean sure, once he eventually learns to use OFA at 100% the same issue still would have arisen, but it seems as though the issue’s been magnified significantly by giving Deku more quirks. I’m really concerned the message the story seemed to be conveying is going to get lost by this, and I’m also VERY concerned that we’re going to see his classmates and other supporting characters become like the support cast of DBZ. Where they exist, but they’re ultimately irrelevant and worthless. Right now MHA’s support characters are still all powerful and useful in their own right, but I don’t see how any of them are going to stay relevant now long term.

In fact, if they do stay relevant, that means either Deku and his quirks are getting nerfed so they can keep up, or they’ll keep up because Deku is just incompetent at using all his quirks, so they cause him more harm than good. I don’t really like either of those options, so this change leaves things in a weird situation. I think the only solution that makes sense to me is if he can only use one quirk at a time, and perhaps he can’t instantly swap between them. Then this could be somewhat balanced, though I’m still not sure about that.

The only plus I can see is that potentially the teachers or government might now think Deku is working with AFO since he’s showing multiple quirks, which up until this point only the villains have done. That could leave to some interesting arcs where maybe the government turns on deku, calling him a traitor, or wanting to experiment on him to figure out how they can replicate having multiple quirks. The school could also possibly accuse him of being the rumoured Traitor, which would be interesting, as Deku, All Might, and his friends have to try and prove his innocence. Maybe he’d even get temporarily suspended from school, or even expelled, and perhaps we’d get a Vigilantes cameo in MHA? That’d be pretty cool.

I guess I really just hope Deku doesn’t become Superman. Superman has the justice league, but in the end he really doesn’t need them at all to do his job.

Maybe izuku’s original quirk was to be able to cultivate other quirks and to train them to stronger, I mean he always takes notes on other quirks how they work how they are used he rights down their weaknesses and everything and maybe since the qiurk was so meaningless on him no one saw this and thought he was quirk less. I mean he was able to take bakugo’s quirk and use his one like bakugo and make arguably better. So because of this latent quirk he might have been able to cultivate these other of one for all which no of the previous users could. I mean if you keep on adding power it wouldn’t work but if you can cultivate it can.

I don’t want to be a negative Nancy but after a bunch if great chapters and two great seasons of anime adaptations, the series is petering out for me. It seems the series is expanding outward more than upward. There are lots of great moments but nothing is tying the overarching story together.

Actually up until recently I thought that EVERY user of One for All was quirkless since the very definition of One for All was that it was a fusion of the ‘baton pass’ and ‘stockpile’ quirks. (that’s what i’ve chosen to call them for the time being as we can’t just call the strength-enhancing quirk One for All anymore since Black Whip is a named quirk) So it made PERFECT sense that if the NEXT user of One for All also had a quirk that it would get added on as well. So when a friend of mine recently told me about the seventh user and the fact that she had a quirk i was like… wait… so then that must mean Deku can use those right… and sure enough a few chapters later. I know that probably sounds like something i just made up now that i look at it but it’s true. XD

I’ve been wanting to see what it’s like to have the strength-augmenting ability channeled through another quirk. I was expecting it to be done through flashbacks, but now we have that opportunity.
I just love to imagine Iida with shoot style, Bakugo doing a smash, or something of that nature.

People worried about power escalation like All Might the super strong guy didnt beat a guy with thousands of quirks and destroy like half a city while doing it. Like endevour and hawks the top 2 heroes in the country fought one beast with multiple quirks and barely survived. Like gigomantica isnt destroying mountains somewhere.

Horikoshi’s BS asspull writing really shows in the recent a chapters, giving Deku 6 quirks out of nowhere…might as well give him another 100 while you’re at it, he got desperate to rush the story and give Deku some absolute BS power ups, this is the point where all of MHA goes downhill!…

Also, didnt the original user get 2 quirks? One that stores power, one that transfers quirks. It shouldnt be a surprise that when it got passed down, the other quirks got passed down too.

Tekking you kinda… misunderstood the forced passing on of One for All. I’m pretty sure he meant that you the person recieving one for all doesn’t need to be willing. it can be given against the recievers will.

  31. Jigred
    March 19, 2019 @ 7:38 am

What I assumed from "Forcibly passed on" was that you can give it to someone who doesn’t want the power. So you can give them a lasagne or something and then be like "oh yeah I put some of my blood in there so you got one for all now, enjoy" and the other guy might not want to the power but they’re stuck with it. So you can’t give it away against your will but you can receive it against your will

The way they explain why this is happening to Deku is more easily compared to a cup of water that you keep adding rocks to, and All might dropping his rock into the cup (passing it to deku) broke the surface tension and overflowed the cup.

The point at which one for all gets maxed is when the new user dies receiving it. Remember that training Izuku had to do in order to get the power? Well, around when someone either accidentally or on purpose gets the quirk and dies cause their body can’t take it. If this is brought up I am not done the video yet. (Edit) 26:00 AHHHH But that’s the end of the power. Would the person be strong enough to handle the quirk? Especially if Izuku powers up with the abilities of past users. Man, I can’t wait to see something like that happen if it does. Guy eats hair, guy explodes from sheer energy.

I think it was because all night was just too good too fast with the power aspect of one for all. Gran Torino stated that all night was such a natural with the quirk that he didn’t really have to teach him anything besides combat. He never needed to grow with it

  49. Umut yigit
    March 19, 2019 @ 8:01 am

I think it has something to do with all for one. The other quirk users may be able to sense him the same way that he can sense them and now they believe that this is the time to strike. This could prevent Deku being op as when the threat it gone the quirks can go as well as the original carriers can be laid to rest.
