Doesn’t matter how much you trained or how talented you are. When the moment comes, you end up revealing who you really are. Those Pro Heroes & even All Might forgot what it meant to be a Hero. Wild.

No matter how many times I rewatch the second episode or reread it in the manga… it was always makes me tear up if not cry.

I love that this series leads so many people to the same question without them realizing what it’s doing: "what does it mean to be a hero?"

I always know if people are going to enjoy this series the same way as I do if they cry at the end of the second episode.

The dub of this anime is fantastic, and i think it would be far better for reaction videos cause it would be far easier for us viewers to follow(with subs we gotta follow the subs, your reactions, what you say and what is happening in the show, kinda hard to keep up)

Edit: not to mention the subs are hard to read when they’re so small like that from here

I’m glad Youtube recommended this to me! I needed more reactors to watch, especially people that are really invested in the shows (and cry a lot like me lol)

This has a deep meaning : Even a quirkless kid like Midoriya can be hero. This anime remind us to always follow your own dream no matter how hard for you to reach out for it

He didn’t go there to save him, he didn’t consciously do it, it was his subconscious that made him move which is what makes this scene so powerful.

I love how in the first episode they are already considering the philosophical implications of hero society! Very good viewers for a very good show. Later on the show will explore the questions you have posed in your early conversation.

I love that in this series one of the overarching themes is the moral ambiguity of the heroes and what makes a true hero. It was nice that you picked up on that in the first episode. it gets explored a lot further down the line when a certain villain shows up.

I always figured it would be cooler if Midorya stayed quirkless but still managed to keep up. Like how he fought the villain by being smart instead of strong.

In the comics, The Avengers were actually getting paid weekly by a foundation set up by Tony Stark. One of the main reasons that Spider-Man wanted to initially join.

That philosophical question you brought up about Heroes and money, is literally the plot of one of the biggest arcs in the show. I’m happy you brought it up so early!
