It was just video surveillance. NO audio. The television news broadcasts have already been shown to display the names of suspected criminals so Light only needed to see those names with his mini player even if there was sound. Great series.

Not that I don’t appreciate him watching this in sub, but I really wanted to see the famous chip scene in dub ? plus L doing the secretary voice was funnier there. The dub VAs do an amazing job in the upcoming episodes, especially the last one.
Sighs, I will however respect your choice to watch it in sub, even though I highly recommend the dub!
