you hit the nail on the head, theres so much things you can miss in this show, theres a youtube video about all the subtle hints of reiner and bert before the big reveal and eren before we find out he has titan powers, its nuts, in episode two season 1 you can see a little annie asking for rations, little stuff like that is everywhere

Only the best writing can make you want to rewatch everything from the beginning with a new context. I’ve seen plenty of series that did that exceptionally well!! And now, Attack on Titan has managed to really make my day as one of the best written series of modern times!!

I would recommend to watch this episode at least two times because the amount of information was bombarded in a single episode is huuuuge. when I watched it the first time it felt like i was gettin lost but rewatching it has really really helpful
