1st ep. of this anime was great. even after reading the manga before long time ago. it was exacly as i remeber it. this might be 1 of the 10 great animes of this season. the action & the story was nice & cant wait for ep. 2 next week. btw the OP it’s so great

I couldn’t get past the first few minutes. With re:Zero having been the anime I finished right before finding this one, the first episode of Grancrest Senki felt like a downgrade – it did everything wrong where re:Zero did it right – the fucking expostion. They laid down all of the world building in the first few minutes more than re:Zero did in 25 episodes – and that’s a bad thing. Never start the story with world-building – get us to like the characters first.
